Rosarito has M Casino, Jackpot Casino, Caliente, Corona Plaza Casino, and Rene's Casino. Don 't think this place can support all of them. I will admit I have been to Copacabana Bar several times to play with the MILFs. They have upstairs rooms for FS. Did notwz pull the trigger though so I saved a little of my self-respect. LOL. I was running late to meet a friend so I didn't swing by NCB on my way to Tijuana.

La Tropical is now my go-to, fav bar / strip club / monger spot to hang out in. Its a def locals flavor. Lots of spinners. We were jokingly "Gringo Spotting" as there wasmaybe 3-4 other white guy / Americans. Ton more girls than guys and girls were very pretty. If you decide you want a tall girl, Id suggest looking here first. 2 for 1 drinks, girls are very low key. You can buy a girl a drink for around $8 and take them out on the dance floor. Theyll play latin style salsa, occasional stripper "rap", and others in between. They have a VIP club card but they told me you can show your HK card there (same owner).

HK card is $50 for 4 months now. If you are going to hit HK more thsn once a month I think its worth it.

When I fist started visiting this bar the roof leaked and depending on where you were sitting sometimes it would be raining in the bar. It's never a bar I've spent a ton of time in but everybody is friendly in this joint and there is no pressure whatsoever. It's been years since I pulled a chica out of this place for Arriba. Anyways, someone once told me that when the chicas arrive in town from wherever in Mexico they come from this is the place they start in. After spending a few months and if things are working out they then graduate to AB, HK and back in the day CC. Not sure if this was or still is true. Moe.

In previous posts I have stated that I think the CC club is on the verge of closing. I was in there last sun night may 8 and I spoke with Jose who goes back with this place some years. He's the guy who works in the restroom and just recently started back working there. At the end of March he was released from jail after doing about 4 yrs. Before that he was there all the time. Used to chat with him on a regular basis. He said these days he does not make any money during the week and actually loses a little money. Weekends he said he makes between 25 and 50 dls. While I was there sun around 8:30 they had 3 girls in the joint and 0 customers. 1 chica was Arline who was in street clothes and did not look to be working. Jose told me sat night they had 5 girls working the whole night. Guys walk in, see no ladies, turn right back around and walk out. He says everybody is waiting for the owner to sell the club or rent it out and bring in someone who will promote the place and shell out some money to bring in some women. Not sure what is going to happen but whatever it is I think it's going to happen soon. I hope new owners get in there and try to make a go of it. Pretty sad the way it's deteriorated. Moe.

I was thinking about visiting Tijuana for the first time, but don't speak any Spanish. Should I just stay in the states & not waste my time, until I've learned Spanish. Or is it still worth a trip?

Any words of advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks.[/QUOTE]Don't let your lack of Spanish stop you. Study some phrases you'll need. Don't need to stress over it because thousands of non-Spanish speaking mongers have come before you.

Sometimes I use the money exchange across Coahuila from Adelitas Bar. Have been there several times where a total of seven bargirls-strippers have been changing their USA Dollars for pesos. Only two of the seven were real cute without their makeup on. The darkness of the clubs and bars and alcohol masks their real looks. The most one of the girls exhanged was about $250 for four thousand some pesos. I suspect the real high earners have someone change the money for them. Also when I am on Coahuila and see the girls go up or come down from the HK and Adelita hotels only about one in three are real fine lookers. Yeah I don't see hw CC stays open either. Was it here or my buddy ho suggested AB actually loss mony on purpose its assumed the bar is meant to make certain "sourced income" appear from a legit source.

You will notice the girl are yonger at La Tropical than AB. Not like high school looking but not 30's and rough around the edges. You can pretend your in your late college days and take a girl up to the dance floor for ass grabbing,or real dancing. Its a nice place to just relax, and enjoy pretty ladies.

I think you will be fine. I do suggest learning a few simple phrases. I don't speak any Spanish and arranged a good wing man. My exploits were legendary, in my humble opinion. Every monger needs to play in Tijuana at least once in his lifetime.

I don't recall seeing it posted here but if you have never been to Mexico, you're worried about a SO seeing a stamp. Don't be.

Mexico doesn't stamp your passport for a 1-6 hour day trip to Tijuana.

Often I see "hey goin to be in town in a month or more, where should I go?" I say,"Tijuana. " If you don't have a passport, get one. Maybe you have it in time, if not, you will the next time. Don't think about it. Just do it. I also suggest getting the passport card as thats much easier to carry and I just leave mine in my wallet.

If you do have one, pack it first so you don't forget. If you're feeling sketchy due to scary reporting, past experiences, etc. Put that behind you. Tijuana is really cleaning up crime at least around Zona. Theres a huge micro brewery explosion of businesses too.

Knowing Spanish helps, but not required to have a good time. Taxi drivers who know 0 English will know "Adelitas" and "border line" (or border crossing). The Mexican official will ask, "where are you going" or length of stay, just say, "meeting a friend at the bar for 2-3 hours and then back to US." Theyll fill out a card, youll sign, and youre on your way. The card has never been needed again (eg to leave or asked for by local PD). When you come back, US BP will ask, "Are you bringing back anything?" I always just say "no" or "memories of some good beers." They will likely ask 1-2 questions to verify you are you (e.g if your passport says you were born in Tuscon, youll likely gt asked," What high school did you graduate from in Tuscon?" Its not because he went there or recognizes you, he is gauging your response. If you reply, "Ive never been in Tuscon," you probably have secondary screening and a lot of time sitting in your immediate future : D Remember, he sees thousands of people a day, so hes askingeasy questions to just see if theres signs of deception. If youre calm and candid, youllbe fine.

Just thought I'd throw that out as I read throughSW, National City and other SD forums with travelers asking the same question to often no response. I always think, "just do Tijuana," but rarely reply.

I forgot to mention but my last trip to TJ, I hit the border at midnight (had to be at work at 6am) on Saturday night and still no line. There was 7 people ahead of me in "Ready" line (with 4 USBP officers so we breezed through) and 14 in "general line, all travelers."

Was walking around the Zona today because the line to cross looks to be up to three hours. Contemplated getting a couple of Caguamas and chilling. Almost equal to a six pack but I knew it would be hours before I hit the road. Was walking around the schoolgirl corner and someone called out from the store with the table games. It was prego girl. Told me she is now overdue. Took her my ST hotel. Her baby bump is indeed very overhanging. She inspected my snake and agreed to go bareback.
