While you guys were having fun I wandered up to Clicks. It was dead. Local intel says the hoes are up in Atlantic City this week??? Nova reminded me of my lowly and humble status by backchannel. At the time, I was still toying with the idea that Manassas was 30 miles closer to home than DC and it would save me the time to go there. Re the Tuesday Roundtable. It was real nice to meet other mongers. Normally I wouldnt lower myself enough to meet with degenerates such as LoveLOS, Nova Guy and XSailor but it was a nice change of pace from my typical champagne and lamborghini lifestyle. Wish I'd had more time to stick around and even visit the AMP or Clix, maybe next time. Tho I'd like to suggest somewhere quieter to meet, maybe with just $5 beers?

Make the call, dude. Date time and venue. Maybe some of the DC degenerates will show up too. Actually, I have found it is fun to show up at an AMP with a wingman. A great idea in theory. But you state the problem too - how to find them. The $60 house fee gives us several things:
1. Anonymity. If the girls are freelancing, they have to know who their customers are, just like escorts; thus they keep records for LE to find when they get busted.
2. While not great, the AMP provides the facilities which are probably better than the average apartment that the girls would be living in.
3. Scheduling. You can pretty much count on going to most AMPS during their regular hours and not having to wait more than 10-15 minutes, but usually no wait at all with a mamasan to do traffic control. A single girl in an apartment cannot accept drop-ins.
4. The AMP sets the price to compete with other AMPs for a basically "generic" service. The popular girls get more business, but don't charge more. If they essentially become escorts, the hot girls (most of whom are more beautiful than most local escorts) will soon figure out they can charge escort prices and the system will have failed.
5. A location, using a legitimate business model, that can be published for mongers to find. An apartment manager would soon kick her out for running a "massage" service in her home, so addresses and phone numbers would constantly change. Some providers would be taking cell calls during the session - just like %^^&&&* escorts do.
6. A level of security against the "raid." You should have about 30-60 seconds between the beginnig of a LE raid and the opening of your door. Enough time to lose evidence such as raincoats and naked providers.
7. Control over the girls. They are expected to maintain a level of hygiene and service. It is reassuring when doing some DATY that very few uncovered FS sessions have been received in that hole. The mouthwash and showers do help with the reduction of STDs in AMPS. I have no illusions that STDs are NOT present in AMPS, but the pussy there sure smells better than on the street.
8. Selection. The girls may make a pile of money each day, but they didn't get here with enough to set up shop in Alexandria. The AMP no doubt helps to secure green cards and other residency stuff, probably up-fronts the plane fare, provides cheap living quarters and food until the girls have made some money to repay the debt. When they move on, the AMP imports fresh meat.

Having extolled the virtues of the AMP system, the possibility of a freelancing AMP girl is indeed intriguing, and the occasional freelancer would not destroy the "system." While this has come up in discussion before I have seen few mongers willing to share the intel. Part of the reason is the girl will probably lose her job if found out. This is apparently what happened to Mimi @ Downtown in July--just suddenly gone when she was planning on staying for a 2 more months and the mamasan's body language indicated she was not happy with her when I asked.

Well, I am in NoVA on business, so I determined that a side trip to DC was in order. I planned on seeing Bibi again at Olympic for two reasons. Hondo is making noise about Downtown, and so I am sure he will drag me there, kicking and screaming, on our next road trip.
