Copper not special
Another continuing episode in a string of disappointing and even Bad experiences while in the process of venturing out trying new places. Had driven by Copper Spa near Augusta and Milwaukee many times. It is conveniently located as I'm on North side a lot. Actually in hindsight I should have.
Skipped this place based on previous comments of long ago. Anyway, I was attracted by the "special" 50 minutes for $50, which is really not that special as there are many places that do a dollar a minute. In this case, I'm glad I did 50 minutes and saved $10. I stopped by the place on Saturday.
Evening to look around and make appointment for next day. Ladies were attractive enough. These, alas, were not the ones who would be working.
When I was to be there. Came next day for appointment. They called in advance to confirm. Got there on time, the lady was plain-looking, with not.
The best personality. She tried to sell me higher price service. Had to remind her with some insistence that I reserved the 50 min. "special". Asked.
Person if I could use the bathroom and asked if I could take shower before session. She answered my question indicating that shower is not included in the time. I also asked if she was the one who would doing the massage. She said it would be her or her cousin, who I didn't see. So, I took my.
Time and got a needed shower. When I was finally ready she came in and did a lackluster, uninspired service. She started with walking on the back which was ok. I asked if everything was to be done through the towel. She said yes. She had me covered during the whole time. She seemed bored, inexperienced, Very lazy. Showed little or no effort. Couldn't wait for agony to end. There was no flip. No Flip. When she said it was finished I looked at the timer I had set. She had shorted me by 12 minutes. I quickly got dressed and headed for the front. I made my complaint about the time and the "service" and wanted a refund of ten dollars. I showed her my timer app on my phone. After some back and forth, she gave me 5 dollars back. Told her I would not return. Basically kicked me out after that.
I called back later for her name.
This was horrible and I intended to tell the manager what happened and my intent to publish a scathing review. I did call back the next day and talked to Jennifer. I asked who was working trying not to raise concern / displeasure in my voice. She first gave me two names (Lee and Peggy), not getting a clear answer as to who did the massage. She got the message that I was not pleased and she was trying to talk me out of giving a bad review. Actually invited me to come back and get a discount. I have no trust in this establishment. Before we hung up, she gave me another name, Kelly. If you are reading this, you know I have submitted the review anyway. They have the nerve to advertise in Body Rubs section of Backpage. False Deceptive Advertising. Should be massage (non-Adult) only. This ad is so wrong on many fronts. One, she had no magic hands that relaxed me. She actually.
