You are correct most will grab you but it won't hold up in court if you do what ump said. 99% have a wire. So if you keep talk to a minimum like ump case gets tossed with a half decent lawyer. Problem is they, LEO that is knows there no case but by the time they impound the car write the tickets that they make up on traffic problems they claim you did and by the time you done with lawyer and court fees, the city gets their money. They know if you don't say something to make it stick worse case for them is they get paid and you out a couple grand paying them. Just FYI. Safe but expensive as hell for sure.

There are crusaders out there who want to get rid of prostitution. There are cops who believe it is a waste of time and paperwork when there is much more serious shit occurring on the streets. The point is whether or not it is worth the risk. Yes, you may very well be the lucky one that gets off with a lecture and a warning. You might also be the one that ends up behind bars with thousands in legal costs and word getting back to wife, family, friends, boss, etc. Who here is volunteering to be guinea pigs and find out? The best strategy is still not to get caught. Ever since I joined this forum, there have been tips offered on what and what not to do. One is not to discuss sex if she won't get in the car. To refresh memories, I originally started this discussion by describing a pickup I didn't make because she wouldn't get in the car and there were occupied city trucks across the street.
