He drove a Prius. I never knew how he fit in that car. That night, some punks followed him & shot him on the southbound 110, right before the 91 fwy there in Gardena. It was around 2:45 am.

Samantha has put up a reward of 150k for the arrest & prosecution of the murdrerous punks. RIP Rock.

First they get rid of the prettier girls, then they fire the best dj they have, dj bird. If you liked old school wednesdays then it's all gone now. They stopped them after bird got fired. Why do these club owners mess with success? Starz was once known for the prettiest / freakiest strippers in la. But now it's not even worth going to anymore.

Just for the sake of it, I'm going to start adding some reviews of the non-Gardena clubs in case anyone is interested.

Silver Reign, West LA

Been coming on and off for the past 4 years. Used to be a high mileage place but things changed in the past year with a renovation / layout reformation which made private, non-peeking spots harder to come by. The old setup was very conducive to private VIPs which could go off the chart.

Pricing is standard but the clipped songs at 2:15 are probably the shortest in the city.

Club is owned by the same guy who runs Skin on Robertson.

Long-time veteran, and probably one of the best girls I've ever seen at a club in LA, is popular N*I who as I last recall works Mon, Wed, and Fri. She has a distinctive, high-end car so it's easy for me to drive by and see if she is working. She only works day-time shift which is the reason to go then.

I've never been too impressed with the night time shift. Yeah, maybe eye candy factor is better than other places if you like blondes but not much bang for your buck. All the girls are waiting for the occasional high rolling westsider to come in and drop $1k because that's what the meter will take you to if you really want to indulge in meaningful VIPs.

Back to the daytime shift, the more common sight are the lonely seniors who wind up there, likely retired westsiders who never make it east of the 405 anymore.

It's an odd location, close to an emerging tech center in Santa Monica and WLA businesses; you would think that it would attract a larger group of happy hour type dudes but I've never really seen it pack up like that.

Summary: worth a visit if you are on the westside during the daytime on a M, W, or F. Bring in a coupon from the LA Weekly to save $, but they will still charge you $12 for two "free" drinks. At most these days you will get some stick shifting but don't expect a lot more. Super dark but your eyes will adjust eventually.

I don't go there much anymore but still fondly recall the unsolicited HJs, russians, and other things that were par for the course as recently as 3 years ago.

Any idea what are Ron's hours and how would one rate this joint to the rest of them.

Gardena 2 south bound from Metro Vermont station provided the view of Gardena & Hawthorne via Vermont, PCH and Western I had skipped for 20 plus years. Predominantly Japanese and white community in the past but only saw one elderly women Asian on the bus 90 min tour. Did not stop at Ron's as too early in the day. Did not travel via Rosecran and Van Ness to Starz either. Did see other SC on Normandie that had low rating on y**p.

Went to KH for Unique's event. I showed up around 5:30-6 place was dead, Tender wasn't there yet. Girls seemed bored, kept getting bothered by a dancer named Salma for a dance. I finally said yes around 7pm because I was about to leave and no one else got my attention, went to the booth dances were Cool, she then went to her knees and gave me that "can I" look, I said go for it. Took the little guy out and proceeded to give me a very good CBJ. Overall damage was. 70, 30 for the dance and 40 tip.

Went into Ron's Barbary Coast about a week ago. Not sure of their exact hours, but I went during the early evening hours. $10 to get into the club. No alcohol.

The girls were young and very good looking. The lap dances area are behind the curtains, and you share that area with other customers, as there are separate love seat styled chairs. The dances are good, and only $10, but don't expect the extras / mileage you would get at KH8, after all you are sharing the area with other customers. Certain girls would let your hands roam more than others, but the night I went the girls looked very good.

Agree with a previous poster that KH8's day shift has not been that good lately. Got a dance from Sensuous, good dance, perhaps mileage would be more if I stayed longer, but I only chose to stay for one song. I like KH8 better because there is no entry fees, and usually, at least two or three dancers will catch my attention. Ron's look like it could be hit or miss, depending on the day.

Deja Vu, downtown: Went last night. Surprised by the variety of girls, supposedly they have theme nights (Asian girls, black girls, etc.) There are three dance areas, $20 for topless, $40 for nude, and $150 for VIP. 30 min. A dancer told me that the nude area was essentially worthless, as it is visible to the outside, close to the DJ, and has no privacy; so I guess try to $20 or $10 (for one song) topless section for value, or $150 VIP if you're really ballin. Different dancers and mileage would vary. It was $10 to get in, with a promo card I had, guy at the door told me it was $20 without, no alcohol.

This may or may not be common knowledge, but I haven't seen much mention the extras available here in the more recent post on this forum, so I thought I'd share some intel. I was here for my birthday over the weekend, and I had a blast. Since it was my birthday, they called all the dancers to the main stage and they had me sit in a chair while the dancers took turns having their way with me. They took of my shirt and belt, wrapped the belt around my neck and tied it the the pole behind me, and proceeded to do as they pleased with me. Some gave lap dances, others wrapped their legs around the pole behind me while dry humping my face, while others just violently dry humped me like a wild cowgirl on a rodeo. If you're ever there, all you got to do is tell one of the floormen in suits that it's your birthday, and they just take you to the front and have you fill out a form with your name and how old you're turning. They don't even ask to verify, so anybody can request this.

Stick with the topless lap dances, the fully nude is a waste of money in my opinion. It's 3 for $20 topless. 3 for $40 nude. I can't speak on the VIP, but I can tell you that extras are available in the topless booths. YMMV, as it all depends on the girl, and how much she likes you. One dancer told me no extras were available, while another was a lot more fun, and sucked my nipple and mouthed my crotch while making whoopee noises essentially creating a vibrator sensation with her mouth. That really got me ready for more, so I asked if there were extras on the menu, and she said only a happy ending for. 5, which is a little steep, but she was amazingly hot so I gave in. My buddy had gotten full service with another dancer for. 8, but this was right before closing at 6am. Not sure if the fact that they were about to close was a factor or not, but I figure it's worth mentioning. Despite the many bad reviews I've seen especially on yelp, I found my time here rather enjoyable, and I highly recommend it. There are plenty of girls to choose from, some more willing than others, so your mileage truly may vary.

And weird that a club not getting attention on this board breaks out with 3 reports in one day. The third is my own long form report that I posted on the City of Industry SC thread because as one poster below mentioned, this so-called LA thread seems pretty much dedicated to the Gardena clubs. I'll get around to re-posting my report here but not right away since all this coverage would be overkill for one day.

Regarding your birthday scene, I remember 10 years ago when the SoCal clubs were generally softer core overall, the birthday scenes sometimes got much wilder than we see today. Birthday boys sometimes lost more than their shirts and belts whether they were good with it or not, and the action could move into seriously hardcore live sex shows. This would also happen when porn girls were featuring and pulling "victims" on stage. A club I totally hate, SRCOI was the lead purveyor of customer participation. I had a buddy who enjoyed volunteering for this kind of victimization. It wasn't pretty, but it was fun as he became a very unlikely porn stud for a few years there when his birthday came around! I don't know, maybe some clubs are still letting it get this crazy. I don't get around like I did before and haven't seen anything more hardcore in recent years than what Soulboy experienced.

History, especially from some of skoolers from back in the day, is some good reading! But knowing what hole a stripper will please my shaft with is a litte more "recent" history I'd like to hear about fellas! Haha! Allot of it has to do with the girl and the day. Some girls will have lower prices on some days. Not going to give out all tactics and leverage I use on public forums but a monger just has to keep their senses sharp and open.

Sometimes you can put yourself into a bad spot or good spot (how much she needs to take care of you wise) just in the girl you pick and her attitude. This is also true for which day you go and when you go.

Sometimes a girl needs what she needs and nothing you are going to do is going to make her settle for less.

I'm so used to lower fees that I was surprised that several of the girls jacked up their prices so much.

I just got back from KH8, it was a very slow night there. There were no real stunning beauties there, I like 'them very young and very slim. The best girl there tonight for my taste was "Mia". Nice girl. We chatted a while I bought her a drink and we did a single dance. My "spidey sense" told me there would be no extra fun with her tonight; sure enough she took to the lit booth on the far end and delivered a rather pedestrian effort. I'm not complaining, I even tipped her an extra $5 because she is a beautiful girl, was nice to talk to at the bar and smelled good. Besides, the one thing I have learned from my years of strip clubbing is you cannot judge the nasty factor of a dancer off one encounter with her. Trust me, it is not uncommon for me to get a very pedestrian dance the first time a dancer takes me to the booth; then the next time I see her, the same dancer will take me to the dark booth, drop to her knees, commence with the blow job, drop the panties, while she's blowing me, get on top and ride it just to the point where I'm about to pop, pull it out and allow me to "paint her back"; then clean it all up as a normal part of business. I'm not saying I'm expecting this behavior the next time I see Mia, I am saying it would not be the first time its happened! (Although, there was this chick named "Exotica" there who I haven't seen in several months who I wouldn't mind having things go that way. Does she still work there? And this girl named "Beauty", is she like the Loch Ness monster or something?, I have heard rumors of her existence, but I have NEVER seen her in person. Does she still work there?) Alas, she wasn't there, so I left mildly "frustrated" this evening.

I made a loud stink about it in the VIP area and to the Mgr on my way out. Being sure to really emphasize her name so everyone in there would know.

They were all polite saying hello and asking for lap dances. A couple of dancers came back to me asking for lap dances again after while. The second visit was practically the same. I printed the coupon for both times and I was charged $5 for the first time and the second time I was charged $10 for the cover (drink) What the heck? They charge $5 for the parking. (Other clubs in the area offer free parking, both valet and self) I'm convinced of the low mileage lap dances after reading Reggae Guy's post. I even read the review of other sites. Wasn't no biggy. Some Caucasian dancer sat next to me chatting and she asked me if I've been to newly opened club near by but I had no idea where it was.

Well I wouldn't reccomend it if the services I paid for werent given, but I did talk to her for a while before we did a dance she mentioned having a good time in the VIP 15 of 30 minutes depending on my preference and tip depending on what exactly I wanted. I left happy FS for 2, kindof alot but she was deff above average, I'm sure she's not the only one in there.
