Thanks to those two guys who had a photo editing program and sent my pics, downsized and brightened to me. The original ones were dark and huge (about 2mb apiece). I don't have a frame of reference for aging. Over 50? Over 40? The new places which have opened up around the financial district are hunting grounds for women in what age group I *think* you're looking for -- between hip hop and baby boomer generations. The 2-3 inside the new Intercontinental (RumBa, et al) are good in my experience -- from what I hear and from what I have seen (without closing the deal, as I can only flirt.) Also the bar at the Marriott Longwarf. I have had friends really clean-up on the Southcoast -- New Bedford, Dartmouth, etc.
I would also be looking online on the eHarmony, MatchMaker type site. From what I have heard from my 'older' divorced friends, they are cleaning up big time there. Women who (like my friends) are divorced, kids are gone, and are looking to get laid.
I am envious -- it is buyer's market if you're a single guy in Boston.

Try the bar at the Best Western Carlton House, aka The Menopause Lounge II, on 123 in Brockton across from the V.A., right before the ramp for 24 north.

Last night I spent an hour or so from just past midnight to 1:30a.m. -- started with CT, then Harrison and over to the 7/11 a couple of loops around Gay Village and Park Plaza (the latter will never see another SW I can guarantee) and all the way down Harrison over to New Market, up and down BHA and then Dot Ave from Columbia to Ashmont and back. For what it's worth (not much) here is the report:
CT - one fugly but eager WSW with glasses and probably in her 40s
Over to the 7/11 - one very decent looking BSW, not at all junkie looking and could have been a solid prospect, but LE was think (two cruisers in separate spots, pull over with lights spinning)
Nothing around the Park Plaza but tourists/dinner patrons; Gay Village just a guy walking his dog
Down Harrison was nothing; New Market was nothing but a short, over-eager crackhead yelling at every car going by
Down BHA presented a few options; mainly crackheads, one older BSW (looked like someone's old grannie but her smiling and waving said she was working); as well as 3 very ethnic looking HSWs, I mean like Bolivian or Peruvian indigenous, not Caribbean Hispanic or what you'd normally see in an Northeast city. But probably the most noteworthy observation along Dot Ave was two statie cruisers and 3 unmarked cruisers, situated literally in the shadows where they could observe and respond quickly.
They were really well hidden and distributed along a half-mile stretch near the pubs area (Banshee, et al.) They were not there looking for SWs, but I assume part of some big organized bust. Although I am sure they chased away any action. All in all the city was thick with LE last night, and had maybe a dozen SWs out of which 2 at most were worth looking at.
Hanet been out on Dot Ave ina week and a half for that very reason. Its not so much BPD but a very aggresive unmarked statie rigjht across from the store 24. My advice is to head down to the second store 24 area (near the discount store on Welles Ave) there's acouple of independant ones that pop one real quick for a date or two then disappear again.
As far as the bay village/park plaza area. I was a manager of a busines there on the night shift for 10 yrs (from 1987 to 1997) and man do I have stories. Don't really head into that area anymore (I tend to like those neighborhood types more. You get fantastic finds if you fish long enough). That area brings back so many memories.
