The police, the massage board and the politicians are are lined up against the unlicensed AMPs owners and unlicensed massage workers. Human trafficking is real but its also a convenient label to paint a horrific mental image to the public and jurors for guilty verdicts and its simply not true in most AMP situations. The massage board is heavily scrutinizing licenses from NYC and they should if there is evidence of test compromise or if people are paying for a fake certificate without any real training. The same scrutiny is done for any other career field requiring a certified license for employment. Requiring a liscence is basically another form of taxation and control by the government for revenue and public safety. I wish there was a distinction between a medical massage therapy license and a relaxing massage certification which would help the AMPs.

LOL. Now the lady bribing LE just stupid, cut your loses and leave lady! The human trafficking thing is bullshit. I agree there are some owners shaking down some girls but they are free to leave. The point mentioned about is this a HEALTH or PAMPER service. Are beautician's and Barbers Vetted like these Asian ladies? A lot of Vietnamese manicurist out there. Hell I've been nicked more times gettin a hair cut than I've been hurt in a Parlor. The vetting process mentioned in this news article is 2 things that I've mentioned in previous post (that I personally have experience with when my girl friend went through the process) 1. The Interview, very intimidating for the girl, I've had easier interviews in my corporate career. 2. TOEFL Test, google it! The massage board will require the girl to take this test with a required passing score, and the required score is higher than some universities require unbelievable. This is not an easy test for you or I to take so yes this is extreme vetting. I understand the human trafficking concern and the concern to protect the public health. But the real problem is the Board, the Governor and Public Opinion is lumping girls that want to earn a living and prostitution all into one group. Why? Because if she's Asian and does Massage she's definitely touching dicks. And anyone that knows the "blue ball feeling" know what I mean and they all are not touching dicks. Just look at the headline on the news story it says a lot. It's already set the tone. So the girls that actually go through the massage boards process of going to school etc. The odds are already stacked against them because of the automatic vetting process to follow BECAUSE they are Asian and this my fellow friends IS DESCRIMINATION but nobody in Raleigh gives a shit about that little fact. So now the Raleigh Suits help create an underground system. License from another source, AAMP's and the girls that were planning to go through the formal system just say fuck it we will play by the rules that makes the cash. The Governor The Massage Board and The Monkey Lawyer are all within arms reach in Raleigh and instead of having understanding and helping people that were not born here they back hand b*tch slap them. Mayberry indeed.

License
Ok I'm sorry but the system is rigged how is it that a landscaper who owns a business can take the pesticide course and take the test so he has the license and all his illegal immigrants who can't speak a bit of English can now work under his umbrella of a license. How can a electrician or plumber have a license and all their apprenticeship workers can work under his umbrella of a license. My neighbor's who owns multiple nail salons and lives in a half million dollar home never have any trouble even though they don't speak a lick of English. I watched my SO work her ass off studying and going to a massage school in N.Y. then take and pass that 2000 plus question test only to get turned down by the NC massage board because they claimed her English wasn't good enough. Her English is ok she can carry on a conversation. I would like someone to tell me who is being human trafficked if they had someone they would be parading them out there in front of the camera's. The 2 girls from Touch of Asia after the bust stayed in my house and believe me they were not being trafficked. What is their problem with cars that have N.Y. . Plates all the girls that I know who have their own cars tell me they register them at the DMV in Flushing because the DMV workers speak Chinese and it's makes the process easier well that makes sense to me. This is just a dog and pony show because there is a lot of federal money out there to be had if you just say the magic words human trafficking. This is just a money game with everyone jumping on board from the NC massage schools who want $14,000 for their classes compared to $4,000 in N.Y. to the massage board who are made up of people who own chain massage stores who paid big bucks for their franchise's and can't compete with the little old Asian massage places. It also amazes me that there were 5 arrested in the Touch of Asia bust 2 men and 3 women now we all know of the 2 girls working there and they always list on the news the 2 men but it's very interesting that the other women arrested she is the owner but they never mentioned her most likely because it doesn't fit the talking points that a woman is trafficking other women. This women is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and really takes care of her employees. She doesn't deserve what they are doing to her.

This women is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and really takes care of her employees. She doesn't deserve what they are doing to her.
Pretty much what my last few post were preaching, It's about who's running the cities, how conservative or liberal the business laws are. These liberal laws or lack of is why I made the Raleigh / Miami / Charlotte comparison. A city can have streamed lined laws or they can cherry pick who they allow or not allow to operate, is that free enterprise? This is America right not fucking Russia? This whole thing is supposedly about controlling prostitution, human trafficking and operating without a massage license. The Massage Board may be out of their jurisdiction on the first two. So is NC the only state that cares about these issues? Why are other states so easy to get a massage license don't they care about their citizens? What's wrong with their Governor and law makers? Why do they care so much for their local economy are they crazy? Raleigh and Miami have the same population but obviously they are worlds apart on many fronts but the main difference is the laws that allow business's to operate that was my main point earlier and is relevant to what the Massage Board is doing. They are micro managing and targeting Asian businesses. Hey if they shut down all the Asian parlors in this area I'm fine I'm covered with plenty of Asian free pussy (maybe a dinner and using my shampoo) Pssst backpage / AAMP. But what the board is doing is discriminatory and bad for business. The land lords loose money which they throw back into the economy where you and I shop and work. The Asians loose money that they spend at CVS, Walmart, Apple, Grocery Stores, the Mall, electric companies, phone service, water service, plumbing service the list goes on and on and on. And the folks that work at these companies are American too that have kids to feed and bills to pay that throw money back into the economy. Who knows some Massage Board members probably own CVS, Walmart, Starbucks or Apple stock (ALL American Business's) See how we are all connected you fools at The Board. They are not sending all their cash back to China they have to eat in a room with lights and wear clothes too. Nothing worse than having an idiot in charge convinced they are right.
I am a bit confused by this. They eat (groceries, restaurants) They drive cars (gas / maintenance). I have seen one of my favorites at a local mall (She was alone and we laughed and talked for a bit). The women don't go into stasis pods until needed, so I am a bit confused by the whole local economy thing. Sure they save up and go to "New York" from time to time. I just want to get a good back rub from someone I know with great endings.
It's tough to know how much anyone in a cash based job spends in their local economy. Anecdotally many immigrants don't really put a lot back into the local economy. They tend to be heavy savers and when they shop they tend to buy from people like them. I've met many foreigners working here who won't buy a car, go to a restaurant owned by. Anyone not like them.
The above said, many do eventually put a good chunk of money back by making big purchases such as homes. However, even that can have a chilling effect on the local economy because they are often willing to overpay or at least have more in cash to put down. Take a look at some areas that are heavily populated with Indian who work in IT. Many live in very nice homes and they often put down 20+% because they save like crazy. Odd thing is when you look at stores and shops near there home it's rarely as booming as areas where the majority of residents are white, black and so forth.

There's a really good book called I think race and economics that talks about how licenses are often just a way to exclude people from the workforce. My guess is that massage envy and similar places don't like the asian places.

But I think part of the point was.
Think how DANGEROUS it is to have an improperly trained Electrician doing electrical work on a home.
Vastly more dangerous than your unlicensed GF givng you a back massage.
If this was really about concern for the public. They would be after the folks making the Fire Fighters do overtime not the ladies working out a few muscles.

Yep low hanging fruit indeed! If all the tax dollars they give the Massage Board employees and their legal team and we know what lawyers charge were to go to the proper folks that need it I wouldn't be so pissed off. I mean we aren't talking about life and death issuing massage license to someone that can't speak perfect English. Yes I agree if the person can't speak English definitely ask them to return when they are ready. A very small staff could handle this IF they didn't create such a mess issuing license. Many states handle ALL this online. But they got to have that choke hold on these Asians. Add up all the salaries, benefits package for each employee, legal counsel fee not cheap, real expensive office space in Raleigh, long term pensions for each employee.. this is a chunk of tax payer revenue. This wasted tax money needs to be going to our Police Officers paying for their protective vest or body cams (some police gear they use comes from their own pocket) pay for some of our firemen's equipment. And how about helping these teachers that are buying school supplies from their pay check. How about hiring another person or two at the VA hospitals check in lobby to get these vets out of the lobby waiting for hours these VETS deserve the same priority that they gave us for their service. The budget being wasted at the Massage Board is a shame on our end and a shame the way the Asians are being treated and other AMERICAN's are missing out on a piece of the tax pie. As you can tell I'm not pro Massage Board LOL. But I always believed if tax dollars go in the "right place" many problems have a way of correcting themselves. But having the right minds making those decisions is the dilemma isn't it? Everyone has the thought process "if everyone would just agree with me they would all be right".
