I agree that it's TGTBT, especially considering the rates. But what's wrong with a gmail address? I've used it for hobby communications for years with no problem. Is there something I'm not aware of?
One of several factors that when I see it, it makes me think I should rule it out. It may be different on the usaac site, but on listcrawler, it's usually a pretty good indication of B. S. Another thing to look for is two different phone numbers in the ad- especially if they are out of state numbers. Also, bad grammar to the point where it looks like someone who doesn't actually speak American English made the ad is a pretty obvious sign. And I don't mean bad spelling or something- it has to be completely retarded wording, LOL. And lastly, if there are a bunch of non-letter characters in the title, that can be a good indicator as well. Not always, but fairly often. Someone in another thread said that about 90% of the ads on listcrawler are fake. I would have to agree that it's probably at least 80% anyway. Again, none of these alone are surefire ways to know for sure that they are fake, but when you add them up, it's pretty easy to see. Hope that helps.
