Pretty expensive ($17), which is not worth it, especially if owner is there, as then dances are lame. Came out smoky too, which is a hassle.

In fact, my first wife worked there for a while, and then mostly at Pete's club in Barberton. Her first name was Denise, which she actually used while dancing.

There also was a dancer who went by the name Julie. She went on to join a lesbian band called Fem-to-Fem that toured and appeared on Howard Stern's show. They also posed nude in Playboy. I have lots of great memories of that place.

What was odd was how so few of the girls went on to work at the new club in the Falls. When it moved, I also spent most of my time at the Barberton club. If I could ask, what did your first wife look like? I'm pretty sure I would have seen her at some point.

The bar in Stow / Kent did close and relocated in Kent near campus and is now called The Dome The guy managing the place runs ads for dancers every so often on CL. The Falls location has been there almost 16 yrs and Pete is always there. The Norton location has been there, well, forever. LOL.

Desiree's at the Dome was a typical KSU bar before Pete bought it, but it didn't open as a strip club until years after the Falls cub opened. I didn't know Pete was spending so much time at the Falls's club. He was in the Stow club all the time, taking care of the bar and actually being involved in his club. I wish more owners were like that. The people who own Dreamers on Brittain Road could learn a thing or two. That place is an unorganized mess. I'll have to stop by and say Hi to Pete some time.

Talking about this really takes me back to what this business like 20 years ago. Pete had his clubs; Chasers had two clubs --one in Akron and another in Rootstown. One guy owned the Nest in Wadsworth along with one of my favorite's, Gene's Lounge, right off Barber Road. He used to shuttle the dancers between the Nest and Gene's. Met some great dancers there.

Was making rounds yesterday, OGD had the best lineup of girls day shift got some really good grind. Lustys wow needs a lineup makeover 5 girls Hannah leading and still complaining about her nipples being sensitive do don't touch. Cookie, and a few others there but nothing very good. The spot on Brown st. Had 1 girl cute but they can't show there tits at the bar, CW 3 girl's but to interested in drinking with friends and not dancing all were half ass lame dances. Dreamer girls 3 girls kinda slow but got a great grind by Starr went back home with money in my pocket which is strange this time of month all girls did not seem hungry for money to pay rent and other bills. Odds are if you find someone there you like, you'll have a lot of options in VIP. I ran into Courtney the last time I was there. She's a lot of damn fun. The bad things about are the high drink prices and the VIP price -- $25 a dance. It you do some negotiating before you go back, you can make it worth your while.

Tried the Spot on Brown St today for the first time. They changed their name but I didn't catch it. One dancer working, calls herself A. The. Went to private room if you can call it that and she did what she could, not bad for. 20 a dance. The bar maid, Jersey, give a nice bar dance. Will try again at some point, hopefully they'll be more dancers.

Stopped by ogd Friday afternoon. About six or seven girls working 4 or 5 customers. Been to lustys a couple times so figured I would try out the sister club. Girls ranged between about 4 to 7. Met a brunette whos name I can't recall. Really short natural see's with a tattoo on the left boob MILF brown skin (white, black, Hispanic, Asian, mixed, I don't know felt awkward asking). Got a few bar dances and decided I needed to get my hands on her boobs. When she worked at Jen's, she would do three dances in VIP and then claim she did five; and then demand a tip. She also does OTC, but the prices there also are outrageous. Stay away. I got sick of her at Jen's when she climbed up on me and tried to rub her crotch in my face. Serious odor problem. Then she tried to tongue kiss me. No way. I've got a bad feeling LEO is going to start hitting these places hard. When she is not tending bar, she gives barside dances which involve A LOT more than dancing, if you catch my drift. She has her regulars lined up and moves down the line, all while serving drinks and answering the phone. At least Poison Ivy had enough class to go to the men's room for that at OGD. LOL.

From what I gathered, Dreamer Girls has gotten worse than Lusty's with "substance problems". Chubby the bartender looks like a skeleton and spends more time in the bathroom than she does serving drinks. Sad thing is, she seemed normal years ago at CW's. She is just one example over there.

I haven't posted in a long time, but wanted to share a rare bad experience. I've been at this a long time this was only my second time being taken by a ROB, and of course I could have prevented it if thinking with proper head.

Georgie's has often been a last stop of the night for me, usually some decent looking girls. Lucky was there as always, tall and thin, but weird grey skin and a vacant stare. She promises mileage only after you're a regular. Judging by her awful dick breath I figure she saw a regular earlier that night bc it about knocked me over. But at least she's honest.

Lola- tall, short dark hair, big schnozz. Told tales of being arrested recently for paraphenalia and DUI. Great body if you like them tall and thin. However, no mileage in VIP, and only a small amount of roaming.

Then came the ROB- Katie was her name, I think. Short, a little plump, bad frizzy hair. I think all of her teeth were there but they were awfully spread out. Said she was 19, but she looked older. She did have a ghetto sexiness about her, especially when I inquired about VIP. She said she was new but knew how to be dirty. Awesome, let's go. We made a reasonable deal prior to heading back. She said bc she was new she had to collect up front bc Georgie required her money up front before she could go to VIP, until she had more experience. I resisted but she promised while her hand was wandering. Obviously I stopped thinking correctly and handed it over. Then, she more or less disappeared, going out for a smoke, etc etc. When I gave Georgie a hard time, he took her side and it was down hill from there. With the text communications all the girls had gotten their false stories straight from all corners of the bar and it was a bad deal. It was time for me to go.

So, watch out for these new young girls working together, taking money and making promises they don't keep. Sure, I shouldn't have handed over anything prior to services rendered but that doesn't change the fact that Katie is a lying ROB. I just gave her the opportunity to prove it.

Years ago at Jen's, the shithead bouncers would help the dancers "miscount" songs, and the dancer would split the money with the guy, so complaining doesn't help at all. In the event the bouncer / owner / bartender is not going along with the hustle, very rarely do they side with the customer anyway. They have to work with the scammer; they figure it's better to piss off the guy than the liar that they see every day.

I never really understood the logic, though. If the dancer would just follow through on the promise, she might hook a regular customer. Rip him off once, and they get the quick profit, but making the guy happy has the potential for much more money over a period of time.

Then again, most dancers are lying drug addicts who live day to day, and long term planning is foreign to them.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I got a barside dance from her recently, and I know what you mean about the ghetto sexiness. She asked about VIP, but since her dances with me hadn't been all that suggestive of better to follow, I declined. Your story makes me glad that I did.

Years ago at Jen's, the shithead bouncers would help the dancers "miscount" songs, and the dancer would split the money with the guy, so complaining doesn't help at all. In the event the bouncer / owner / bartender is not going along with the hustle, very rarely do they side with the customer anyway. They have to work with the scammer; they figure it's better to piss off the guy than the liar that they see every day.

I never really understood the logic, though. If the dancer would just follow through on the promise, she might hook a regular customer. Rip him off once, and they get the quick profit, but making the guy happy has the potential for much more money over a period of time.

Great information. Georgie's was becoming my go-to joint so I'm happy to get the info on a scammer. It sucks that it happened, but we've all been there. The best thing you can do at this point is report it. Hopefully, the members here will get the word out. Maybe someone will confront her on it or, as has happened before, show this scammer your post on a smartphone and let her know she's being called on her bullshit.

I agree with Kintaro II that a lot of times the managers or bouncers are in on these scams--even if they're just taking the dancer's side because they have to deal with her daily. They need to realize that this BS kills their business. There are a couple of reasons why higher-end clubs make sure they keep exact records of dances and collect money up front for VIPs. One, they want to get their money. Also, they don't want dancers or customers pulling any crap. They especially don't want their dancers robbing customers because a scammed customer won't return.

Kintaro II also is right about how many of these girls are addicts who don't give a thought about what happens to them tomorrow. That's becoming a huge problem at Akron bars. Am I the only one who is seeing ridiculous levels of obvious substance problems these days? I've been clubbing for 25 years, so I have a good idea just how many of these girls have abuse issues. But I've never seen so many dancers who are either working while they're tweaked or scamming customers to feed their problems. It's gotten completely out of hand, if you ask me.

Had some time to kill. Went to Gatsby's on Tuesday. Several dancers, but hardly any paying customers. Three good looking dancers showed up from Roxy's. That club is open Thursdays and weekends. They hoped to make some extra money on their days off. Stayed late.

Stopped at Georgie's, and then back to Gatsby's Wednesday night. Georgie's was a complete waste of time: three dancers, none worth a second look, all wanting to take customers to VIP. One told me that VIP is. 25 $, with the dancer earning nothing on the first song, and. 20 $ on each song from then on. Gatsby's had six or more dancers, with almost all of them pretty attractive, but of course extras are unavailable. Far too few customers were there, and fewer were buying dances. Drove by Dreamer Girls on South, the Spot (current name) on Brown, and the newer place on Main (the extension of Lusty's). Saw no cars at Dreamers, one on Main, and a few at Lusty's. Went out for other activities.

Stopped in a couple days ago, tall blonde called herself Nikki (how original), some good grinding then VIP. Damage was. 6 for swallowing. Can't beat that.

I am thinking of checking out some clubs either Friday or Saturday-will they be crowded after the holiday?

You would think the clubs would be hopping because the dancers needed the money and the customers either had time off work or needed a break from holiday stress. Instead, I walked into a lot of dead clubs. (Now I figure that the dancers were out shopping like everyone else.).

There were benefits since slow days offer a lot more privacy. I remember running into some of my favorites at times, and that was a huge plus.

I'm not psychic. You may find different. If I didn't have work commitments, I'd be out clubbing both days just to see what was going on.

At least as far as dancers eager to make some extra cash. I always make new friends this time of year. Ever wonder why Santa smiles, then laughs, and says "HO HO HO!" .

I remember going the day after Thanksgiving maybe 10 years ago. It was crazy, I couldn't even get a seat nor a parking spot. Granted, this was before the economy tanked, before casinos, backpage, and all the other factors that have kicked the Akron bars in the ass. I just don't feel like going if it's going to be too busy again.
