DC, MD, VA is the DMV. Specifically. Northern VA (Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church), Southern Maryland (Hyattsville, Landover, Silver Spring, Bethesda would be kinda stretching it) - all centered around the District of Columbia.
Delaware is too far out to count, unless you're just traveling along I-95. But I've never heard Delaware referenced as the D in DMV.

Spent a couple of nights in that area but not enough to get a bead on the scene. The only strip club I visited wanted $120 cover during COVID that gave me a table and a couple of drinks. As far as sites, I like Tryst. You have to weed through the GPS unless you're okay with that and you can find some legitimate gems.
