The ones that I am suspicious of are the ones where all the photos are non selfies and look professionally done / stock photos or the ones with just 1 photo. Also, I see alot of profiles where they are supposedly a student and say "I am going to university". I'm willing to bet they aren't from the states.

There are just too many profiles with the one tilted/skewed stock photo and one short generic line for both "About Me" and "Seeking". What is your theory for why there are so many like this?

And the % of fake profiles in major cities is probably pretty low, but they are still out there. What really gives it away is the bland, generic profile text. I can just see some guy sitting in SA offices trying to come up with something different for each one, but failing pretty quickly. And the skewed pics are just a giveaway too.

They can't fool me. Or actually they can, but they need to at least try a little harder and not make it so obvious.
