So I've only been on seeking since October, and I've had a good amount of success, while running into some of the usual scams.

Girl who is in distress and needs money ASAP to pay a bill or get their car fixed.

Girl who says she can only know you are serious if you send her money before meeting.

Girl who plays up that she wants an arrangement and you talk for a while and when you are finally getting together and she is taking an Uber over she asks for you to send her money for the Uber cause she is broke. She won't accept an Uber to pick her up (dead giveaway is when she says my friends warned me not to do this bc of all the girls kidnapped from Uber. News never made public and how can I force Uber to do something outside of pickup and drop off).

I'll be honest and say early on and more times I care to admit, I've fallen for this or thought this time is different bc this girl and I have been talking for days and she shared all this personal info and mad pics, so why would she waste all of that time for $10, $20, etc.

It's got to be generational that a girl will waste hours of time and share a lot for personal info, just for a few bucks, when they were about to get hundreds of dollars.

Obviously, this will continue to happen, but I think we can work on thinning out the scammers if everyone reports each and every scam they encounter.

I believe it's against Seeking policy to sell content and I think they frown upon online only, so take a pic of your convo where the girl introduces the scam pitch and report them. Since the profile is blocked when I report it, I don't know how many or how often my reporting leads to a blocked user, but hopefully it doesn't take much. If 2-3 of us report a user it is bound to work.

Losing money is a pain in the ass, but the amount of time I've spent talking to these girls (and don't get me started on the ones that ghost after tons of back and forth messages) is insane. Although I do think the girls who ghost without explanation are also scams who catch on (or maybe feel guilty) and know they won't get money out of you.

For those paying cash for gifts, they need the money up front. Look for spikes in activity and willingness to negotiate from December 15 to Christmas. For those who pay by credit card, the bills are usually due to be paid in January. That coincides with New Years resolutions. Look for spikes then as well.

I don't need the hassle of explaining how and why I happened to be in touch with someone half my age, thank you very much. (Not that my opsec should be that vulnerable to the CDC.). Downturn and more precisely the expectation of what may be coming over the next few months doesn't help.

That said, for those of you who have your acorns stored away and are single, this could be a banner time coming up to be a SD. Particularly with business travel and conferences being whittled down and cutting out the one-night stand SDs willing to put down a little more to get a sure thing when they are in town. Good luck my friends.

Was with a provider yesterday and she said can we meet Thursday and I asked why and she says there have been lots of cancellations and she is free and even hinted at being free because she is ATF and a regular. I declined as I had other things. But hearing from a few that there have been lots of cancellations.

Just record lecture on video once, design test, and pay a student to collect and report test grades. I know this option has been "available" to colleges for three decades, but this is the first time I'm aware of in history that it has been made mandatory, so it may roll the ball in that direction permanently. Most university profs probably aren't spending much individual time per student anyway (unless she's hot and he wants to bang her).

Georgetown is encouraging everyone to go to their permanent addresses but nothing about required to leave.

Yesterday, one of my SBs told me that Anne Arundel Community College will not have any in-person classes from 16-29 March. They'll possibly extend that to longer time periods depending on the severity and what UMD decides to do as well.

While some might see opportunity for dropping prices in this hobby, it might very well be time for all of us to take a break. Shit's becoming more and more like that game "Plague Inc" with each passing day.

Almost got had. Started texting this afternoon, agreed on ppm of 250 for 4 hrs, nothing off limits. Only issue was that she lived in Stephens City which is about an hour west of me. But for 4 hrs and how she looks I thought it'd be worth the trip. I'm about a half hour into the drive and I get a text from her giving me instructions once I get to her address. She said "My drive way is the first long one the right (it has post with 4 mailboxes at the top) when you turn onto mulberry st from 81. When you get to the top, put my allowance in my mailbox & after we are done having our arrangement & you are ready to leave you will follow behind me up the driveway for me to grab it before you head home. " I told her that doesn't make any sense, I'm not comfortable leaving the money in the mailbox, I'll just bring it inside when I get there. She made up some bullshit excuse about how on a couple other arrangements after the guys were leaving that they robbed her of the money and ran out the door. So I said well first of all not going to rob you and second of all just hide in some of the room in the house and you'll be fine. But she refused. Insisted I leave it on the mailbox. I told her I'm not doing that, as soon as I drop it off in the mailbox and drive away someone's going to pull up behind me take the money out of the mailbox and whatever house it is you're telling me that you're in I won't find you in there and I'll never ever see you. I told her this totally reeks of a scam and I'm sure I'm not driving over an hour just to get scammed. So I said unless you're cool with me bringing the money in the house and there's no point in me continuing to drive over. She said she's been doing her research this way for a while Now and never ever had any issues. So I said best of luck and I turn my happy ass around and came home with the same money in my pocket that I left with and not scammed out of 250 bucks.
