Pictures and two stories.
Thank you. I plan on capturing as many sessions as I can. I had never thought of taking pics or anything but Mr Baldy and others were getting these chicks to go along with it that I just said "fuck it" and grabbed my camera and just started asking if they allow pics. Not all of them will do it but the ones that do will definitely get repeat business from me.
Yeah, I was surprised to find that many agree too. It's nice to have a memory and when looking back at the pictures, I have placed a call or two for repeats.
I like Reese too. Nice girl and definitely worth a visit.
Story one. Figueroa hotel. Went in parking lot to ask about getting a room. While there I asked about random checks and patrols and was advised to park nearby. Walked back with my company and we enjoyed the finery of this particular establishment. Now for the fun part. As we were walking down the alley way to get back to my car there were three LEO patrol cars parked by my car. About five of LA's finest with flashlights searching the location. Then an out of place Whitey with my Cuban friend. A second of apprehension overcame me followed with a "Too late to turn back now" thought.
I took a deep breath, fortified myself and said in a deep voice," Excuse me officer, Is It safe to move my car?"
No problem.
We jumped in the car, gasped for air, and drove off. Our heart's returned to our chests and we LOLed in enthusiastic relief.
No problem. Thanks hotel man. Better than a Six Flags visit.
Second story. This happened back in 2000. Not sure if they do it any more.
I was driving down Figueroa around 11 pm. Minding my own business and adhering to all laws and rules of the road I see the red and blue flashing lights that precede a traffic stop. I pull over and pull out license, registration and insurance info. Two officers approach the car. The one on the passenger car has gone entrapped and approaches quickly with flashlight. I pass the aforementioned necessities to the officer and he goes back to the patrol car.
Five minutes later they have me step out of the car. One asks if they can search my car. I agree (I'm sure I messed up on that).
They search my car and when they finish one asked me if I knew where I was? After I answered, they told me I was in a bad area and 2 people had been shot in the last week. They told me to be careful and be safe.
I was happy times be on my way. My only though was I got pulled over for being too white. Has that happened to anyone recently?
