I've used them for 20 years and only seen LE once and that was because someone was being stupid. If you haven't been before go with a girl to show you the ropes but definitely go around back. Occasionally you can spot one in that area but it's rare.

I've also seen a few inside QT on Franklin but they don't loiter there.

Read the Charlotte SW reports and give it a try. There are some areas there with a few candidates but not many.
