First and foremost, the girl he paid that money to is unlikely to be on most people's radars, especially not mine. The man can pay her what he wants and it will in no way have any bearing on my hobbying. Second, it is extremely naive to believe that this forum or any other forum represents more than 5 percent of the hobbying population of Chicago or any other city. There's a few hundred or less active members in this Chicago forum. Maybe a few hundred more who lurk. The population of the Chicagoland area is close to 10 million. There are likely to be over 200,000 active hobbyists and that number increases daily, especially among people in their 20's and 30's. To think that by scolding anyone on this forum for something they paid as if it's going to keep prices in check is akin to sitting outside Whole Foods and scolding people for what they paid for their avocados.

Supply and Demand has always had and will always have the biggest effect on pricing, not some angry monger's tiny price rebellion. That won't even move the needle. The areas which are saturated with talent, NYC, LA, SF / SJ, Toronto, Vancouver, Orlando etc. All of these places have stable pricing and have nearly unlimited talent.

Chicago is a seller's market right now. It is no different than the housing market. You can roll your eyes at what people are paying for a shitty 2 bedroom condo in Evanston, but until there is more global supply, it will continue.

Adapt or don't. It doesn't matter to me. But stop throwing fits on the internet. It's a bad look.

Although many mongers are looking for a cheaper option, the financial risk / reward is lower. If Bonnie Belle rips someone off for $150, that sucks. But if a guy is saving his cash for a more upscale experience, it's going to suck if he shows up and the menu is limited. So, Jinurso's 600 experience might be beyond what I have to spend now but in the future if I've got that amount to spend, I will want to see which provider is going to offer the most open menu and unrushed experience.

Although Tryst has pulled prices up, good research will quickly show which providers are only there (or Slixa or Eros) and which are trying to appear more upscale. The 600 provider isn't going to appear on EB or STG as well. Her prices aren't going to drop.

I hinted at a secondary purpose to overpaying. I didn't call it out explicitly because I was waiting to see if it would work first. Today it did.

I've been grooming the fuck out of her ovrer text ever since I saw her and she's going to come over tonight, have dinner and spend the night for free, fully believing that this is a date and she's emotionally attached. So my $600 overpay is going to lead to probably at least a dozen times of fucking her at no additional charge beyond treating her to dinner.

We all just tell our most dramatic stories because they are more interesting. 1. high asking price. It means they're usually lower volume and likely less jaded and used up.

2. Reasonably well adjusted. You can't spend all night with a meth head. You'll get bored or freaked out and she might shoot up in your bathroom and die.

3. Not too hot. This works best on a girl who isn't overly attractive. She has to be hot enough to want to binge fuck for a couple of weeks but don't aim too high. I once tried this on a $800 an hour girl who was a total bombshell and she basically said "I get flowers every week from a Chicago Cub who's been trying to get with me for the last year". If you aim too high you end up competing against rappers and pro athletes and hedge fund managers who are running their own version of this game.

4. Exit strategy. Pay attention to signs of too much attachment. When you start hearing stuff like "where have you been my whole life?" And "I've never met anybody like you" it's time to stop.
