No offense but I'm growing tired of the Tammy Mori chatter. I'm an acquaintance of her and while she is stunning when you first meet her, I don't know. It just wears off for some reason. Cool chick no doubt.

And TV seems to distort their image, and opinion, a bit. For example, I never thought Jill Kuramoto was the cutest thing around. But through business I met her and her family and she's way cuter in person. It could be that her personality helps affect ones opinion in a positive way. Years ago when Kathy Muneno first started, there was a tongue in cheek survey published asking the male news guys who the hottest female personality on local news TV was, and she was the hands down winner. But recently even my SO had been saying how her looks have gone downhill along with her reporting. But recently we were at an event and met her and Nainoa in person and spent some time talking with her. She's way better looking in person IMHO. Even the SO agreed. Just rambling. That's why we have a General Reports thread.
I had a crush on Teri Okita when she first started on the news, but after 10+ years later when she came back to Hawaii, she just looks like an average ajumma. Same thing goes for everyone else, Tami Mori included, age really changes not only looks but my own perspective of hotness. I used to see Tami almost everyday when she worked for the State / DOT and a few times at the 24 hour gym, ok but nothing spectacular. Eye of the beholder.
So I checked the DC board on here but not very helpful. Anyone have info or experience there?

Lots of highly rated good looking ladies to choose from. Besides all the locals, it is supposed to be a popular tour city for the travelling ladies. Jill is much more petite in person. Something about KITV that makes their head look bigger than they are. Maybe the angle or wide angle lenses. Just look what it did to Justin.

It would not surprise me if it was distorted. KHNL / KGMB (same station) have "exceptional" broadcast quality.

Sorry, had to add my 2 cents on this one. While I agree she is attractive physically, I am totally put off by her nose in the air personality. A while back I sat next to her at a wedding, she was dating a former classmate of mine. I had just moved back from the mainland and didn't know who she was, and was making small talk with her. At first was pleasant, then when I asked her what she does for a living, she said to me in a very curt way,"I guess you don't watch the news." WTF! Wasn't even in a joking tone of voice. End of conversation. Ever since then I have a hard time looking at her in a positive way. One of the other guests at the table commented to me later about her attitude as well. Maybe just a bad day, but wow!

KITV's HD broadcast seems to be blurry, while 7/8's are razor sharp. They probably haven't invested in proper HD cams yet and are still recording in SD, but blowing it up to and broadcasting in HD. KHON hasn't even gone that far. They are still in SD all the way.

Since the type of work I did involved the local TV stations back in the day, got to know of few of the personalities pretty good. Personalities galore, from the conservative to party extremes. Dated a few, but if for those that go back that far, was together with Mary Zanakis for a few yrs. She was a damn good reporter, but got fk'd (from her station at the time bc, male dominance/$$$) She was a good bang, but alas, went our sep ways. It is a rough business for females, and I know of a few who used their cookies to move up to the chair. Oh well, good to relive back in the day.

I think those are all royal palms or similar so you don't have to worry about your nuts.
