It is up to the poster to decide if he wants to share who the girl is or where she can be found. There is no implicit "purpose" for any thread. If the poster doesn't want to share any useful information, that is entirely up to the poster to decide. If you don't like it, too bad. Just enjoy the pictures or don't look at them.
