I agree with what Gene2 said. Different regions do things different ways. I travel all over the world for a living, with well over 20 years in the hobby. I can flat out tell you that you are wrong about the password thing. Good and/or cautious providers DON'T like being OTR. It's more risky. They don't like the risk of exposure. They would much rather see trusted, reliable clientele than unknowns for the obvious, many reasons to include robbers, LEO, being outed or found out, etc. etc. "Verifying" is a very sure way to do that. That's done by reliable clients providing passwords to those they trust, or if not called that, then saying "JonnyB can vouch for me" and then of course they check with JohnnyB. Whatever. Many different ways to skin that cat, and it most certainly is not inappropriate to want to do that, and for people who have found good talent, to want to protect them from being hurt in one of the ways I just mentioned. There are also many websites that require authentication to become a member in order to communicate with the providers. the website makes money on that, and I'd rather spend that money on a provider, not a website, although I've dabbled in that in the past. There is a good website I loved to use but they don't cover Michigan, so I'm SOL on that. Also, when it comes to someone new to the hobby, as Benz proved with one of his new UTR's... the wrong asshole shows up and she pulls out of the business before we can get in on it and we all lose out, all because the wrong idiot saw her. Is that a risk for any provider at any time? Absolutely. But this forum has proved that there are more than a handful of total assholes I'd never recommend to any of my regulars, as if I did, that regular would never want to see me again. YES, passwords have their purpose, and yes, they work.

Anyway, all of that is for the same purpose of adequate screening and allowing both providers and hobbyists to be selective, win-win for everyone. And here's a clue: Don't be a dick, show some respect to the girl, get along with everyone, and play by the girls' rules and you're in. If you don't... well, that's exactly what the screening process is for. Good luck with that.

It was only pic option and she was not willing to send a face pic in return. I offered giving her my screen name on here as well as a few providers I have seen as references and it was a no go. I honestly wasn't that much against the photo request even though I probably should have been. It was the refusal to send one in return that rubbed me wrong. Don't ask me to show you my hand and lose my privacy if you aren't willing to in return. You were seeking a same day appt if I remember correctly. Which would require a picture. I have not and never will send a face picture. I have a stalker that is still trying to access me, and I take certain precautions. And Benz even testified to my screening procedures. Look at his past advertisements for me. I will accept a reputable provider's reference but know that will take time for me to reach out to them to verify. So don't expect a same day appt.

I have been in this business for 15 years and I have a long standing reputation as a reliable and true to herself provider. I am sorry that things didn't work out with you and I can tell that you are clearly very bothered by the fact you couldn't pass my screening. I really don't like sour tasting things in my mouth so I am kinda glad you didn't.
