She never asked for a tip. When I tipped her she smiled and thanked me never counting it.

I got dressed and paid eighty dollars for the hour on my way out the door. By the way, I wish the girl working the front desk gave massages as she was hot, hot, hot. She said she was not good at massage. I told her the way she looks it didn't matter. She is the same girl that used to work weekends at Royal Spa.

Went to Zen in Chelmsford on Sunday afternoon. Called ahead and asked who was working and was told that Jenna was there. Having heard good things about Jenna decided to make a 1 hour appointment. Got there and met Jenna, who was just plain looking, probably in her late 40s. Paid the house fee .60, and laid on the table. Was asked light, medium, or hard, and I chose hard. Overall the massage was nothing to write home about it was just a light touch with some elbows on the back of the shoulders. However, the tease leading up to the flip was very good. On the flip finish was just average, nothing too special. Got utc up top and otc on bottom. Did try for utc on bottom but was not getting in there. She did let the puppies out on the flip. On the way out got her card with her cell number on top. Overall the experience was just average. Would repeat if I am in the area. Your 1/2 hour at $130 total for FS may have been the best choice at Johnnies. 3 years ago I tried his girl in Manchester then a second one in Amesbury, got shorted by at least 20 minutes each place. FS plus the "hour" for $200. Which location was it?

My rule in this case paying $100 that was the rate. When you go and they collect $50. 00 fee for a massage it is expected that a tip is required. When a provider says it is $100 for a half hour

And $200 for a hour for F &S that is the rate period because everyone knows what is going to happen at that rate and was all ready talked about.

Hope I made myself clear but use your best judgement on a case by case basis.

Here's my view: No, I don't think a tip is expected under the scenario you describe. If the provider is independent, doesn't split the fee with "the house" (as she would in an AMP) and she sets her own rate, then I would only tip for exceptional service (beyond the standard HJ). Even then, it would depend on the level of service and the agreed upon fee.

Most of the Asians working out of an apartment are being managed by someone else, so in that case I would tip the same as in an AMP, also some of the Brazilians.
