Twice I have gotten text messages on my monger phone from girls who I later found out were arrested and it was Uncle LEO texting. The first time was so obviously not the girl I knew texting, and I ignored it. The second time a few years later they were much more subtle, but when I called they wouldn't answer, so I didn't bite. Both times I changed monger phones after it happened.

Smart girls will have passwords on their phones to hinder such activity (among other things). Uncle LEO does have access to devices they can hook up to the phone to download contacts, text, recent calls, pictures, etc. But so far as I know, they aren't in common use around here.

Now you may be able to get an arrest thrown out, but you still got arrested, they know who you are now, so they still win.
