So I'm still new to this, please excuse my naivety. With the action I've heard of around other bookstores, SBV seems like it would be a prime candidate. Right next to a notell. I've been in there a few times and have seen girls on occasion, but not sure if they were working. Anyone have any luck or know of anything there? PM me please or post.

I agree with HappyGardner over the years I have gotten tons of phone numbers, pager numbers, and address and most were dead within a day. This is a great idea but not with SW's. Latly I have found a couple regulars that I see when I want and save the gas. I still keep my eyes open around the neighborhood but there are some scary looking crackheads out as of latly and I guess I am getting older and wiser and don't want to mess with them. Maybe summer will bring some interesting talent to the Midway stroll but I won't count on in. Good luck out there!

I have to agree too. You are dealing with a very disfuntional person in a SW and they don't live by the same rules that most people do.
Also, has anyone noticed that there aren't any SW's left? I mean none at all. I've had business in the city lately and have driven 47th St a few times in the last week as an altenative to I-55 and I haven't seen a single girl out. Most SW's are among the most flaky people you will meet. I try and keep a list of contacts. But most of ph #'s are only for 2 or 3 weeks. I am amazed how many SW's will bother to give a number when it is bad. I always try and get ph from a SW that interests me even if I don't have time. It's really great to have a contact of a good SW that is reasonbly prices when things are slow. This way you don't end up paying more for medcore quality.
The problem is not just Chicago. I was just in "never miss" Cincinnati and it looked like ghost town at night, with no one out, much less SWs. Ditto for Covington, and I never have missed in either place before.
I did very well in Indy on the way home, but only saw maybe 4 in a known "hot" area and more LE than showed up for 9-11.
My last few 47th street trips were useless, I did however drive up to Cicero and 290 and ran into Faye who did a nice job. Looks? Well if Dr. Suess started drawing SWs, then Faye would be one of his characters, but she was very friendly and did an OK job for a very reasonable price.
I just had one call me at home on my cell to see if "I'd risen again on Easter" but not in the mood as I'd gotten very drained in Indy.
Spring will come! They'll be back out. You do have to remember that we are dealing with people who suck dicks for a living, so that is sort of a special segment of the population to begin with.

Just wanted to respond some more to this posting. I think that these are all good ideas, And I thnak you for posting them, but I want to tell you that they have all been tried before. MWM, HHH, and myself have all given of our time and $$ to women that we thought could be turned around into normal, useful providers. Move them to an industrial area and the businesses will complain.

I know exactly what you are talking about HG I also tried doing this years ago I grew up in the Midway stoll area and alot of the girls that used to work around here I went to school with I tried to help out a few to keep them on the side (Not trying to Save them by any means) but keep them in business without being out on the stroll 24/7 this was before Cell Phones, before USASG back then I worked in the electronics industry and I used to get pagers for some of the girls I would see on regular basis but I am sure that most got traded for their next hit, so that stopped after the first few. I did not pay for them so it did not matter to me. I still live in the area so I am always keeping my eyes open for talent but I have resorted to some regular girls and it seems to work good. Interesting. I was there just the other day and I spoke with a guy who was at the counter. It was late and the place was dead. Don't know what to tell you. Where are you looking on North and Western? What time of day? What are you seeing or not seeing? Are you checking doorways, sidestreets, and things other than the obvious? Are you making one pass or several? You may have also hit a bad streak, following some stings by LE. My experience tells me it takes patience and you do hit some occasional dry spells. Vary your cruising times and keep your eyes open. But I also hope you are following the cruising tips offered on this site. Don't get desperate and pick up just anyone and be aware of your surroundings. I have heard of guys tired of dry spells that pick up girls worse-looking and more smelly than warthogs and take chances that get them busted. Stay safe!

I'm guessing it will pick up a little as the weather gets warmer. As you can tell from my username, I popped my cherry in that area. I drove through there last Friday and it was dry as hell! So was North Avenue. There were a few stings last year around this time up on Kingsbury - just north of North Ave (by Circuit City). I'm hoping this will be a plentiful summer in that area - although it hasn't been really active since around '01. I plan to hit that area again this weekend, but don't expect much. I'll report on my findings.

You stole my thunder, I was gonna report the same thing. Yester day went for a cruise down roosevelt towards cicero. I stopped at the gas station on roosevelt just before cicero and got approached right there. Nice BSW with a huge ass said her name was "cherry" charged me .2 for bbbj, and it was pretty fucking good. After we finished and I went back to drop her off, I noticed that there were SW's everywhere.
Guess the warm weather brought them out of hibernation.
