I work near LBB, on the other side of the 91. I rarely have time away from the office to go patrolling during the day and I head home towards the ocean. However, today presented differently. I went on 3 trips:

1. Lunchtime 12:30-1:00.

After grabbing a quick bite to eat, I decided I still got 45 minutes to kill. Decided to take a stroll. Drove by the infamous plaza, but saw nothing. Saw 1 LE as they made a minor traffic stop, and CHP officer making another traffic stop. This was more of a recon work, trying to see what everything was about.

2. After work 4:30-6:00.

Decided to give it another try cause I struck out during lunch. Started from the 91 and all way to 710. Stopped by the infamous plaza and saw nothing. Drove further north, and saw 2 BSW on Elm near the Gas Company. Decided to loop back and take a closer look. One of the BSW, one in gray dress, waved. She looked pretty, decided to see if any better. Cruise further and saw nothing so head back to the BSW. Found her on the other side of the street. I parked in a plaza and she was pretending to be on the phone, but comes up to my window.

Me- "Nope

As soon as she said that I knew it was going to be rush job so I bounced. Today was complete loss, but you know what, sometimes you win some, sometimes you lose some.
