If you like what you get in Mons Venus, then good for you, but I personally prefer Ybor Strip, Pink Pony, and others. By the way, never go to Silk Stockings on Hillsborough, it's the worst strip club in Tampa. There may be some potential for extras, but the place sucks anyway.

About MP's, the J place on Gandy(check my first post) is pretty good, there are actually some young masseuses in there, but usually a middle-aged Asian will give you the service. The O place on E Hillsborough is good if you like old women. You know, maybe you should check out the Far E. place on Kennedy, some young Asians in there also.

How is the quality at Pink Pony, especially on day shift?

Gators, if we go back to September 2001 (when I went for the 1st time, I was new in Tampa by then), I would say that dayshift was really good, especially on Saturdays. I had very good experiences over there by then.

Now, however, dayshift at Pink Pony is not very good. In fact, I would say it sucks. Nightshift is your best bet now. Ybor Strip, however, has a very good dayshift(check out Maria). In terms of quality, Pink Pony has never had spectacular girls (ala Mons Venus), but there are quite a few cuties from time to time, especially at night. Just be careful with LE, they raid this club quite often.

I'm not sure if it's late to post my report but here goes. I'm from Los Angeles and I was in Tampa last month (first week of March) for a conference with a friend of mine who flew in from Japan. We stayed in the Hilton in St. Pete and at first we were planning on getting an incall. Checked the T** website but the reviews of the girls that we were attracted to were YMMV type so we gave up. So we thought we'd just hit a strip bar after our seafood dinner in a restaurant on Treasure Is.

After dinner, we went back to the hotel to clean up but the door man said there isn't really any good titty bars around the area taht he'd recommend. So we decided to try an AMP. Checked out Bankok in St. Pete on a Friday night but strangely no one answered the door at around 9 pm. So we looked into the yellow page and found several in Tampa, on the same highway that would take you to the airport (forgot the name of the street).

We got off the exit coming from highway 275 (it was the first or second exit coming from St. Pete). After we passed the shopping mall on our left , soon we found one modeling studio and several AMPs. We first checked this one out but the girls were very ugly. They quoted us $60/40 min or $80/hr. These fees include a hot sauna. My Japanese friend said the mamasan looked like godzilla (late 40s Korean) and she'd give him a nightmare. So we moved on.

Not far from that AMP, we found this blue/violet building with red neon lights that said MASSAGE OPEN with a small entrance and a parking lot in the rear. It was raining really hard and was almost 10:30 pm so we said let's just try it.

We rang the door bell and the mamasan buzzed us in. She was in her early 30s, Korean, and looked cute. We chatted for a while and I told her that we're from LA for a conference (in LA usually I'd tell I had been there before) and also asked her where she was from. She said she used to work in Northridge, Ca (that's a good sign b/c there were a lot of good MPs there). So we asked for the price and were given the same deal, $60/40min or $80/hr with sauna. My friend asked the mamasan how many girls were there and she said 2 girls working and are very cute and young. We said ok and decided on the 40 min deal. She let us in and said only one girl is ready since the other was still with someone so she asked who wanted to go first. I volunteered knowing that my friend needed a smoke.

I went into a room and was told to get comfortable. After lying on the massage table with a long wooden bar on the ceiling I started to wonder if it was legit. 5 min later, a young Asian girl walked in and told me she was 24 and that she was Thai (her name was Cherry, yeah right) She started off with a really good 15 min massage and then asked me if she could walk on my back. She was petit so I said sure. It was indeed a much needed massage after a long day. While she was massaging me, she said she used to work in Thai houses in SF and also Hollywood, Ca (good sign again).

Once I flipped over, she started to massage my balls and lightly touched my dick and asked me what I wanted. I said everthing and she said how much do you usually pay. I said in LA I pay $60 and she said that'd only get me a bj. Then she said everything for $120 and I said NO. We went back and forth for a while and she never stopped touching my dick and finally I said $100 or I'm going into the sauna. She agreed.

I had some time left so I went to use the sauna and took a shower. I was surprised when she came in with me. Afterwards, she dried me off and offered me a cold drink.

On the way back to the hotel, I asked my friend why he upgraded to 60 min and he said he was stupid because he thought he was going to have the mamasan for service :)

Anyway, the value is not as good as LA but I'll take it for $160.

good point. what was it like over there? can I get some info on SP? also why is the hobby so bad (2s and 3s and TVs in Tampa Bay) seems like everyone is in the strip club scene. when was the last time the hobby was good in the bay area?

Slup was busted! I found this one, so she says" just stared yesterday". I gotta tell ya, if she wasn't "on the job" I would have dated her! She was at least an early 30 9 or 10! Here's my rundown of the Tampa/St. Pete action as I've experienced it. I've never picked a woman up off the street, in fact I rarely see one that I'm sure is a ho, but I saw one on Hillsborough Avenue today. Not only would I never in a million years do her, I'd clean the toilet seat off after she used it. I tried visiting a few women who advertise "body rubs", etc. Pretty much always dissapointing and costs about $100. Visited a few really nice ones a few years ago, but they don't seem to be around any more. Went to a place on Central Ave. in St. Pete - they showed me the "massage" table and it looked to me like they might change the sheets every month. Plus the two women there were skanks. I said "I'll come back later" and took a hike. "Private modeling" and the like - storefronts with darkened windows - quality, price and service varies widely, but it seems like lately you can get what you want, but be prepared to spend $100-$300 or even more. I spent $320 a few weeks ago, but it was a truly beautiful provider with a wonderful attitude. I haven't tried the women with ads in Nightmoves who make it clear they are providers. When I've called a few of them they quote around $150-$200. The clubs are where it's at these days. Pick the right club and it happens for you during a private dance. What I don't like is the short amount of time the "dance" takes place in - one or two or three songs is still a short period of time, plus the seating or whatever they have is generally uncomfortable and cramped and perhaps very short on privacy. But at least you get to check out the appearence of the provider before you pay. The place with the most reliable action has been mentioned here before - let's just say it has an alliterative name. I visited a place today that is new - a private dance with glass between you and the dancer. Far better lighting than most places you would visit. Good enough lighting that I could see a large pimple or sore on the woman's labia. Makes me think "What the hell am I doing?" What I mean is that here the lighting was good and I saw something that would scare me away - but what about all these other situations where the lighting is bad? So while I'm talking, how dangerous is to my health to get a BBBJ?

Also avoid the one on MLK at the end near the Delta hanger. Rip off city. Pay up to $150 and the gals strips to g-string and dances. Much better action in the private rooms at the Pink Pony, so I have dreamt.

About the PP, things are OK during daytime, but things are quite better at night... for some unknown reason(well, that's what I dreamt once).
