What is RR?
RR= Rub Ratings. It's a body rub & massage provider site.
Was driving down Lane Ave yesterday and the massage place there had their Open sign on, and several cars were outside.
Was driving down Lane Ave yesterday and the massage place there had their Open sign on, and several cars were outside.
I drove by both places on Lane today. The more northern one had a hand-written sign saying they were shut down. I called and there was no answer. But there was a couple of cars there.
The other one on Lane didn't have the sign on. I also called band got no answer.
Maybe they only open occasionally.

I suspect that a lot of the closed AMPs will not have been able to financially survive the time closed and will not be reopening. The rent, utilities, etc. continue whether having customers or not. I noticed that Vitality Spa on Third St. , Jax Beach has been totally cleared out. I'm sure new places will eventually come in but I bet it will be quite a while before the scene is as it was before. Even when places can reopen, they will probably be severely limited in their hours, capacity, etc. Just my thoughts.

I'm guessing the therapists went home to hunker down and management is simply waiting things out. With few exceptions, the AMPs are located in strip malls where many of the co-located businesses have also been shut down, so there may be rental forgiveness involved. As a landlord better to eat a couple months rent than try to re-let empty space. And yes, some shops will not re-open. Those that do open again will likely have practices in place to satisfy local health department concerns. I am cautiously optimistic.

I am sure they will open when permitted. They quality of girls has always been our complaint. (Over 40 over weight and not too friendly). However the quantity is never been a concern. They will find therapist to open doors.
My concern is officials. They have tried unsuccessfully to curtail extra services. Proving "prostitution" has been difficult. However if the extras violate declared COVID safe practices. They will have an easier case.
Optimistically hopeful.
Will definitely be interesting to see how much the scene has changed when reopening happens.
I forgot to mention, they will reopen because there is a large pent-up demand for their services (no pun intended).

I'm kind of burnt out on the druggies and narcissistic women on stage. And the swans don't look too better and are twice as sketchy. The one thing I really true enjoyed about AMP is the tension and build up before the action happens. Plus didn't the country cut a check to help businesses so that way when things start opening back up it will be a easier transition.
Any that work from home? I remember a Blonde Russian chic I used to visit. I saw her. I think she went by Val or something, off San Pablo. Asian Kim isn't in town either.

Having said that I also have to admit that I don't really know anything about running an AMP LOL.
