It comes with trial and error, I had quite a few nice shots ruined by either a dirty windshield / window as all the dirt gets magnified in the pic as it's closer than what you wanted to take a pic of. You also have to be able to hide what you're doing from most of them or they'll throw shit at your ride. The same with taking pics of the SW in action, I have had a lot ruined by the flash (why I have it off most of the time) or by being too close to the action. It does take some practice to be able to take pics while you're getting some action at the same time. You also have to make sure that nothing that can identify you makes it into the pics as well. Like with most things the more you do it the better you'll get.

Did a run last night hoping to run into Jessica but no luck there, so as I made one more run up dexter and saw Pawtucket Jenn see pics from Horny's post. For inside, you'll need a wider aperature / shutter speed combo, so go for the Party / Indoor setting. That should reduce blur and give you more "keepers"! As always, thanks for your pics!

First problem is that you bought a Nikon, the Canons are usually use much better sensors, its not the amount of MP the camera has but the quality of the sensor that makes a good pic. Nikons are good cameras but sometimes struggle with Low light or indoor type pics. Not sure what settings you can make on your Nikon but there must be a way to set it so it can take a quality indoor or low light pic even if there is movement going on. I'm not a Camera pro by any means so maybe someone else can comment on what setting to make indoors when movement is involved, if your cam has a sports mode that many times is good cause it adjust the light sensitivity along with the shutter speed.

But I did see another girl that was sitting on the wall directly across from the PP entrance doors on the side street and she was talking with a customer so I didn't approach her but she looked real good also for a SW. Once I got a clear look at "salt" from up close as he walked under a street light you could tell. Cranston st was dead the whole time. I did see crazy Brittney but even she was on Elmwood near the library. There was a POSSIBLE hsw doing loops between them and either she was dumb as hell, brave beyond belief OR an undercover as it was obvious they were there and that she was "working"

Over to Olneyville, about 1:30 am, nothing on Manton. One attractive SW on Atwells by the hill but there were 2 cars lined up for her already. Headed home as the heavy rains started. I should have waited a few minutes for them to pass and tried again but I didn't.

I don't know whether it was patience or being stubborn or what BUT the majority of what I saw was AFTER the rains stopped. As for the jerks, I saw PLENTY of them as well and more than one drunk driver. Multiple cars driving with no lights at all on, a few running red lights etc. Have to keep your head on a swivel for the morons as well as the ho's.

I am a self admitted lurker recently that has been away for awhile for various reasons, I took my first trip tonight in quite a very long time. I started out around 11pm on Elmwood and the streets were a ghost time with heavy leo presence. I went up Atwells and met with same negative result with one gigantic BSW walking on Manton. I then tried my luck in Central Falls thanks to the recent post about some luck being had near the Sunnyville convenience store but that was also a no go.
