They just don't want to be treated like a common hooker.
I have an approach I use for profiles like that, if I perceive some other redeeming feature of it (other than the photos, which I really don't pay a great deal of attention to. In fact, no photos, that's just fine for me). Basically, I acknowledge that most desirable girls (them) on the site get bombarded w / messages, most of them pretty unsavory. Aiming to set yourself apart from the great crowd of dudes treating seeking like it is the same as an escort site (IDK what those are exactly, I don't use them) is the way to get a quality chick at a reasonable fare.
These girls aren't completely dumb, they (mostly) understand they're going to be banging you at some stage. They want that to be a good experience for them, as well as the other aspects of the experience, and of course, a lot of that is related to the $.
I've had a fairly common experience recently, that in texting w / a POT, they will ask for the financial contribution I am willing to make.
