Even though I can afford to pay whatever I want for a provider, I refuse to pay more than $200 unless I get some pretty special extra attention such as a dinner date or overnight. It's just a matter of enforcing market pricing. If the current market price is $150, those of us who pay more make it difficult for the others. Ginger was on my radar to see when she was to visit here last month. Unfortunately she cancelled her trip to Mi. I think you're missing the point of what's being said by some of the guys. Price does not dictate good / bad service providers in the Grand Rapids area. I have mongered here for 30+ years and have seen enough pussy to know quality will not come from paying higher prices here in Grand Rapids. I could give countless examples of paying to much for poor service and under paying to little for good.

I like to negotiate a price we both are comfortable with. If I see a provider once a year I might be inclined to pay her asking price, but when you see a provider 1-2 times a week, you get sensible.
