Took a stroll down Franklin yesterday. Saw one obvious SW walking then posted at the bus stop near Delaware. Older petite blonde. Probably 50 years old. Saw another a little while later. Small young blonde. Then another tall & young looking from what I could see with a really nice body. White tank top, denim shorts, curly hair (reminded me of cookie lady's style) walking with grocery bags although I'm not sure if she was a SW. Saw a truck (too nice to be a local) make a turn after passing her but I didn't linger around to see if he picked her up.

LEO was also out pulling over anyone for anything. They followed me through the neighborhood until I made some remarks out my window while sitting at a stop sign. This was all between 5 - 6 pm. The east side is hot right now due to the sudden surge in violence lately but the girls are out there for sure. Just be safe and watch out for those cops in particular. 2 big black guys with du-rags. The way he followed me for no reason was bordering on harassment.

There is almost never any police presents on the eastside state or other wise.

I can not remember the last time I have seen anyone pull over on Franklin.

The days of good looking spinners on the eastside are long gone. Be smart and do your shopping online, find a regular and be happy with that.

Granted that I am not there constantly (once a week), but every time I've rolled through, I've seen a number of gals out strolling. There are probably 4 or 5 that can be spotted on any given day, and occasionally you will run across a new face. One such had long brunette hair walking along Dakota, but she was already engaged by another monger and scooped when I did a flip. Didn't see her again. There's also a tiny blonde that walks with one of the local guys constantly. I have gotten a look from both of them, but I never attempt a pickup like that. Also spent some time with a little red head I snagged near Iowa and Leith, but I haven't seen her in months. Jessica (another spinner blonde) has also seemed to disappear the last few weeks.

Local and State, local typically when they get a call into the area, and State will come through for half an hour, longer if they make stops. Some days they don't, but the last few weeks, the times I have been there, has been at least one roving. Can't say for certain they are prowling for illicit activity, but they do cruise the sides and yank cars over at seemingly random. Take it what you will.

Point is, it isn't as dead as you make it out to be, in either sense. Is most of it zombies best avoided? Probably. I have seen an uptick on Fenton, but that's not saying a lot.

Both areas are dead as hell. Iam on Fenton 3 times a day and see nothing. East been there daily most I even seen was two at same time. And passed them by. Its dead, burn some gas and find out for yourself. Take care.

An earlier version of the bill tried to remove the exemption for prosecution of police officers for any sexual contact whatsoever, but the final version signed by the governor only criminalizes sexual penetration.

Made a swing through the east side on Friday night, around 7 pm. Nothing of note walking about but due to the cold didn't expect to find much.

A tan Chevy truck (Avalanche maybe?) started following when I turned onto Franklin from Hamilton, then stayed on my ass for a full circuit of the area. When I pulled over behind the church on Franklin and Delaware the truck stopped next to me, just far enough back to not be window to window. Never got a good look who was driving, had no idea why I was being followed and didn't want trouble so I just mashed the gas and headed straight out of the area (followed me to Dort and Davidson). I'm still freaked out a bit, be safe and keep your head on a swivel.
