I thought Sunday may be kind of lame, but I decided to check it out anyway. I got parked about 12:45 PM and by 1:15 I was sitting in Hong Kong. I did notice there was a line going outside the customs building, all the way to the top of the spiral ramp, and at least some way into the walkway. Each to his own, but I usually find it best to have one waiter for myself. Many times, it has worked out for me. Here, he worked as my assistant by showing me around, which helped since HK was new to me. I also totally picked my own girls, but I preferred to do it from a distance and have him bring them to me. Once outside, follow the crowd down the zig-zag and out the turnstyles. Look for a cab on the right, or across the little street. Say "Zona Norte Hong Kong", make small talk, and give them $8-10 once you arrive.

Have fun in HK, then exit the front door and get into a cab and say "pedwest". After that you cross back over.

I had time for one more excursion before I had to leave the San Diego area. First, there are no absolutely awful times. Well, weekend nights when there is a line out the door is pretty bad. I go during the day. It is not crowded and the girls are hot.

But here is my suggestion. Don't take my word for it. Do a search of Hong Kong in this thread and read a few pages. Learn how to best get in and out of Mexico. Learn how to get from the border to the Zona. And learn the tips different guys use to get the best out of a visit to a place like Hong Kong, which puts any strip club in the US of A to shame.

Then go. And write about it. Help others to learn.

As I'm sure many others have already said, there is no bad time to go to HK. Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest times but some mongers like the crowds and party atmosphere. I prefer going when it's a bit more mellow but always a fun time. I recently went this past Sunday afternoon from 2-5:30 pm and the selection was quite good. Crossed thru Pedwest and after exiting down the ramp and out to where the taxis are, I found the HK valet guy standing around and got a ride straight to the club. Very easy and without much haggling as the ride itself is free and you only tip the driver. I usually tip $5 if I'm the only passenger and about $2-4 dollars if there others. Coming back I use the valets to get a free ride back to the border and repeat my tip. Couldn't be any easier and the wait time at Pedwest was about 20 min. Don't overthink it and don't act like a jerk to the locals and you'll be good.

Guys, as someone who's visited countless girls in OC / SD / TJ. I can honestly tell you TJ is the closest thing to Hobbyist Heaven you will find. Once you're in Zone Norte and checked into your room, whether you go to HK, Adaledas, Chicago Club, Tropical, any of the others right there on that square block, you will be able to take girls up to your hotel as often as you want. I recommend HK for the beginners since they clearly have the biggest and best selection of girls. However, after going there again and again you will find the girls who remember you tend to stalk you. Other times HK might have more going on (Hk always seems to have something going on). Also the girls want to go up to the rooms, they hardly ever push the lap dances, at least at HK. At HK its 20 bucks for 3 songs. The meseros are usually the ones who push the dances.
