I don't really do LE checks. (I should put that in past tense. I'm off the street game. Have been for a year now, though I still have a love for the streets).

Chances are, if she's in your car and driving off, and you aren't being followed, and she's not determining the place, I'd say you are relatively safe. But you aren't out of the woods. Especially with zealot cops with money to blow on gadgets. I'm just waiting to hear the day that a decoy has a GPS on her for easy safe tracking and following. Its logical direction to go, if wasn't for officer safety. They have ZERO desire to hop in a random car with a miscreant who could easily be armed and dangerous.

It amazes me when I see the various "COPS" episodes where they give you a glimpse of stings in different parts of the countries. I saw one recently where the decoy SW stood on the corner and directed the car to meet her behind a church, midday. These guys would talk money and etc while cars are driving by. The girl was wired with a camera. They take her cue and head to the church to get busted.

Obviously, there is no such thing as common sense. It seems fairly uncommon.

In one instance, the guy drove off without making an offer to her, after she talked money.

The police stop him a short ways off, and like a dummy, he goes spilling beans as soon as they start trashin' him and ripping him out of the car.

I'd like to think I would have the presence of mind if ever in that situation to just shut the fuk up. But I don't know, nor do I wish to test my luck. Thats one of a myriad of reasons why I avoid the street game right now. Even if you do all the right things, you still can get put in a life destroying situation where all that you have on your side is the evidence LE gathered. There is NOTHING you can produce to protect your own innocence unless you were foolish enough to record yourself for legal defense purposes.

I was just thinking that it'd be smart to record yourself, but maybe not because then you'd probably have to have a believable legal motive as to why you did so. However, you could then prove that you didn't do any illegal, although perhaps the intent to break the law would be obvious.

Why don't you do the LE check? Was there something you didn't like about it or you just felt it was unnecessary?

Sometime you see these sw's who are out all the time. So therefore the risk is much less to do the check parked. Some sw's are quite picky want to do a qucky check in the parking lot.

Listen to what Stoner is telling you. The cop check bullshit is just that, bullshit. They do not have to tell you they are a cop if asked. You cannot claim entrapment if your original intent was to commit the crime for which you were ultimately charged. This applies to SW's & mongers alike. This kind of stuff has been argued before individual states & the US Supreme Courts' numerous times, almost always decided in LE's favor. The high courts have agreed that little lies and certain transgressions by LE are a necessary tool of law enforcement.

If you do get arrested: Don't give in to sweetheart deals or give up your right to a fair trial, unless there is an agreement between prosecution & defense counsel to seek a stet or nol pros of your case. A PBJ (probation before judgement) can be a real bad deal in the long run if you find trouble within the probation period.

Stoner didn't say it was "bullshit" and I don't think it is bullshit if doing it lowers the probability of the chick being a cop rather than a real sw. No one ever said it was some sort of 100% guarantee.

If you are saying that you know of instances when LE chicks did the LE check and showed their titties and grabbed the guy's dick, then that would be information that we'd find interesting and put into the equation.

As for intent, it's important not to incriminating words if you talk to a sw on the street you are not sure about. It's especially important if you cruise areas where the cops have a civil intent to solicit law.

In the absents of anything better, why not perform a check? I do not recommend exposing yourself, however. Having the prospective angel expose herself is a better idea. What is the problem with asking, “Honey, you look good, a little to good to be true, can I see what is down there so I can be sure you are who I think you are?” If she says, “No,” your options are still the same. Yes, if it wasn't clear, let me make it clear. The LE check is [b]bullshit[/b]. Its a misnomer, and a cheap quick feel at best...but not much more. Its a myth that it will protect you.

Even worse...it COULD get you busted if she is witnessed lifting up her top (indecent exposure and most certainly your eyes are not on the road or focused.)

Think about this: If two consenting adults can't touch each others genitalia in their own car away from prying eyes, why would it be legal and safe to do it while driving a city street in an area known for hookers?

LE check is in fact, a myth.

In some stings, yes they do use decoys. But in many, imo, less publicized stings, they will just tail a known provider walking. Just sit and camp on her until she finds a "john" and coordinate others in the squad to follow and make the bust. I'm not a cop, so I have no official numbers or percentages to share to back up my point. But I've read enough reports, media and police and witnessed enough stings. They don't always use a decoy to sting.

If your luck is shitty and you actually have a decoy in your car and you start drilling her, asking if she is a cop...you are [i]already[/i] cooked. No ifs, ands or buts. You will not be able to stand up in court and say "Um, Judge, the decoy did an LE check with me. Thats entrapment!"

As I said, vice could go as far as their department lets them. In the case where they go after drug dealers...Vice could go as far as to take inhale a line of coke just to get a bust. We all have heard SW who got busted after having sex with a male decoy.

The sheer number of people who do LE checks is very high. Yet, with the number of arrests, something tells us that the most common techniques are not enough. Sometimes that means cutting loses, or having plenty of nights with zero catches in hand. You have to be that much more savvy if you want to stay above boards. Otherwise, its only a matter of time and bad circumstance till you run headlong into a full blown sting.

Even if she (the actual sw) is the only one incriminating her self, you now have some guilt by association to be leveraged on you. They will try to sweetheart you. Only a good lawyer will help you gain back your rights. As Baltimonger wisely stated, If you aren't talking with the prosecution directly, anything the cops says is BS.

OK,now an actual report.

I have reported on her before.
