Had some time to do a few loops.

Just drove the circuit coming thru Brockton after an appt and the must have been a LE convention in town! OMG I couldn't believe it. Actually saw 1 BSW on lower Montello but it was too dangerous with the coverage! So friggen tempting though. Does anyone know why they have beefed up their coverage? The same thing has been happening in Dorchester and Roxbury.
Even Uber traffic enforcement where 4 cars follow the 5 cars that just made it through the yellow light neighborhoods, they gave someone I know a ticket for going through a YELLOW light!!!
Also, the umarked cars are everywhere in huge numbers, andeven they are giving traffic tickets, like not stopping for turning right on red.
I have seen 10-15 L.E. in the same small neighborhoods and try to remember the plate numbers so the same cars don't see me too many times.

Perhaps the fiscal year is coming to an end and they need statistics to get more funding.

Made my first swing through Brockton in months. Decided to "retire" some time ago and was just killing time. Arrived about 7:30 and found it pretty quiet from the LE side but there were more than a few likely workers and a few known (including HIV Katie) out and about. Some in places I've not seen often Spark Street, for example. About 10-minutes later it was like COPS BROCKTON and they were obviously in a mood to bust balls. Pulling cars over on and Main seemingly at random, searching them top to bottom while the driver sits on the curb in plain view of everyone passing by. Cruisers, marked and unmarked and even some civilian cars. Yikes. Something is clearly up.

As to the sidewalks, it looked like they left Katie alone but were giving a ton of crap to any other girl who made the mistake of venturing out that night (and there were at least a couple). Figures.

I was out of there by 8:10 and it looked like they were just getting warmed-up.
