I just dropped them off in Pearl City, and went home to write this. Its about 9am the next morning.

Either of those threads would be appropriate I guess; so would General Reports. Not really much difference, IMO. But getting to the main point, I salute Excellent Dude for scoring big time with those two ladies. That's quite an accomplishment.

Having lived with AMP owners who were also Licensed therapists on the east coast, I have some experience with Massage Parlor Laws in Maryland and in DC.
The largest overwhelming and problematic situation that an owner or in the case of Hawaii, the Principal Massage Therapist has is controlling their therapists, be them licensed, apprentice or whatever.
Living with an amp owner is in itself a trying experience. One of my owners didn't work, but was still responsible for her girls.

Late hours. Her being with other men and not knowing what really goes on behind closed doors, was a problem. I later found out, that I really didn't have anything to worry about.
Of course, living with a new amp owner, is doubly frustrating.
Anyway, the inevitable happens, and she gets raided. She believes a disgruntled employee falsely turns her in. One of her therapists allegedly did an impropriety with a cop.
Now in Maryland, there are clues that tell the amp owner that the customer is a cop. Police in Maryland cannot totally disrobe. Total disrobing, is considered entrapment there.
Because I was in business for a number of years, and the nature of this business took me into court a number of times, on money issues, I was able to coach her on what to say in court.
Anyway, court time comes, about three months later. And the judge rules that the massage parlor owner/supervisor cannot possibly supervise all her employees all of the time and dismisses the case. Which is a practical
and honest assumption. And she is free to go.
Now, I believe that a Principal Massage Therapist at best and for all practical purposes, has one hand tied behind his/her back and can simply oversee to the best of their ability. Being in a room 100% of the time with many therapists is at best impossible.
For instance, in the case of a construction RME. He also has to supervise the area of his expertise. But an RME doesn't have to be there 100% of the time. He can look over bids after they are put together, before presentation, and at times visit sites for improprieties. This is acceptable practice. In theory, he should be at all the sites all the time. Not possible. For example, if an employee gets caught selling dope on a site, is the RME responsible. Not hardly. His name doesn't even come up in court.

The Principal Massage Therapist is at best the Scheduler and Trainer of Massage. Any illegal activities by therapists shouldn't be in his/her domain. I feel that the State/local government is shrugging their societal problems on innocent hard working individuals.
Judges and State Boards need to realize this!

Looks like Mardi Gras in Honolulu is just around the corner. I really am looking

forward to attending that MardiGras bash downtown.

Can anybody tell me where I can go to check out the Dancers during their

practice rehearsals.

I wouldn't mind picking up on some Samba tips. I was to the New Orleans

Mardi Gras several times but did not see any Brazilian Dance groups. In

college I took up Ballroom dancing, picked up an A and just had a ball. Met a

lot of wahines in the process. And thought that this would be a way of

getting back into it.

Anyway, last years bash really impressed me. Especially a couple of asian

dancers that looked really nice. Maybe that's my motivation.

One of the dancers reminded me of Junko over at University. Thought I

might take a shot at her.
