RE: Alpha

What makes me wonder about the place is this.

The phone is still working. How long has it been?
Almost 6 months?

Who's paying the phone bill?

I have scored a couple times recently on N.B. ave near the building that used to have Aristocrat's.

I think that Stoner was in a bad mood when he wrote his post, and that he probably didn't mean to slam Monger22 so hard.

If anything, he's trying to protect Monger22, Pogo and the rest of us by basically saying this - stay away from the entire subject of Alpha, since there's a chance of pending legal action. No need for any of us to get drawn into something that we'd be better off avoiding.

As for me, I am assuming that Alpha is gone for good, and I've moved on mentally. Plenty of other things for me to worry about these days, such as how long it now takes to drive to Waterbury amidst the I-84 construction.

I took Betty (the one Monger22 has written about) out for a test drive today. Took her to a short stay (are there any other type?) motel on Rt. 5/15 Berlin Tpke.

She definitely likes to talk, the whole ride there and back shes telling me everything about her personal life. Lives with her aunt/uncle on Park Ave, she is 27 yo, thin 98 lb Latina with blond curly hair. She dresses nice comparably to others who work street. Says she used to be fat, got divorced and lost a lot of weight due to it. You can tell, as she does have stretch marks on her belly and her small boobs SAG. Has 3 kids too she says. But she does have a cute face in my humble opinion, and she is an amateur, which I think makes it more enjoyable and more GFE like, especially with the talking! :). She tells me she does not want to do this much longer, she's afraid of LE and crazy guys. She got left at a motel once by a guy smoking crack.

Performance was average. Got FS and BBBJTCIM for $45, actually gave her $5 when i met her to pick her up, she claimed she needed it to give to her guy friend who was following her, she owed him. Well, of course, my instincts told me it was a scam but she left her purse in car and came back 2 mins later and off we went. My thought was, well, if she's going to scam me I'm sure it would be for more than $5 bucks, but still later I found out that guy friend was actually her brother.

Her number is home number, so aunt/uncle may answer. They do know what she does she says but what can they do shes 27 yo. I told her she should get a cell, says she's thinking about getting one when she gets her tax return.

Monger...Yeah, I didn't mean to come down so hard. I've been pent up pretty bad at work. Didn't realize that my post was so heated.

Mighty summed up pretty well my boiled down thoughts.

From one man to another, I'm sorry for snapping at you and I tore down the post.

I did take it personal when really, it wasn't and you are free to think as you wish. Believe me, I am itching to talk about it all, yet, for numerous reasons...I resist.

It may or may not have been stated that the posts here were used. Truth is, they were, including comments from not a few of us frequent posters over the years. I know this from numerous first hand sources now.

Personally, it angers me that they would do this, yet...what can done about it.

For all you fellas interested in what's going on with the Alpha check out the city of hartford website hartford.gov and link to HPD news. Apparently the owner Gail is facing multiple federal charges pertaining to the operation of the Alpha Club.

Bingo...thats it. Amazing it took this long.

I never thought I'd see the day (at least hoped not anyway) where I'd be reading about this. What a sad, sad day. I had many, many sessions there over the past 10 years (I'm 32 now). Rebecca, Beth (some of the chicks from years past) will never escape my memory. Even more recently with some Indian-looking chick who's name escapes me, she had 2 kids though, but was young, 26 maybe. With all the real crime going on in this city, and state, and country for that matter, it's such a shame this is what they choose to focus on.
