Was at Vegas II last night. The girls there all know about LH and what its reputation. The girl I was sitting with said that the new owner may not be able to get the liquor license transferred because of all the violations in the past and she is suing. So LH might go under altogether. She also said that the word was the "new" LH would be a more "legit" KB, i.e., customers will have to "work" (pay $$$$) for favors.
Talked with mama for a brief stint. Confirmed reports say that LH is going to close, I asked her what she was gonna do, and she said, "I dont know." Asked for Kyong. Gone to Korea. Asked for Sunny. Said she doesnt come in anymore. Choi wasnt there, Penny was, but was busy with other customers.
Mama told me to go with the bartender, the 500 lb girl. I said, no thanks, Ill pass. Seen Soon Ja pass by. Started laughing at me, forced herself into my booth, bought her one drink, back to the room, BBBJTCIP. Total damage among all the drinks had to have been $$, I bought mama a drink too.
I felt bad about LH changing management, but I had to go one last time. Ill probably call up Sunny later..

Sunny is still coming in at LH, last I heard they are closing this Saturday 11/17.

I was there last week,one of the guys at the bar asked for her. The chubby bartender told the guy that she hasn't been coming in anymore.Are you sure that she is still at LH? Might have to go this week to confirm a Sunny sighting.

Nah, age is not the criterion. Disposable income is.
Generally, younger guys don't have the cash to sling around. OTOH, they usually got game and can get better bang for the buck (so to speak) by working for it, if you know what I mean.
But avoid the bars in the outlying areas. In general, ground zero is the Kapiolani/Keeaumoku area. As the women's marketability wanes, they migrate further away. Just a rule of thumb -- I have seen 'em young and hot in Kalihi, but in Waipahu, young means under forty. Pearl City and Aiea is a wasteland.
Pardon me for some unsolicited advice, but it sounds as if you might not understand the drill. If you already know the game, pardon my blathering.
1. Don't fall in love. Don't even fall in like. Refer to the recent Black Stallion incident. The women are not in the bar for the social scene. They are there to make money.
2. When you go to these bars, you are paying for their company. As I see it, LH might be the last of its kind. You are paying for the chance to talking your way into their pants.
3. If you are on a recon mission and not ready to engage, be low profile and don't loiter too long. If a girl approaches you and you say "next time", odds are there won't be a next time unless business is real slow.
4. See rule #1.

The best chance is with new girls before they get hardened and you need to be fun and respectful, of similar age, not sleezy or pushy, go on friendly dates and see how they act and earn their trust. That said it would be smarter and a whole lot cheaper just to meet girls online from dating sites or from overseas.
Every rule has exceptions, but this would be a daunting task. Better to try somewhere else.

If it looks like you don't have money they will try to get whatever they can out of you and then make an excuse to leave and either find another customer to get $$ from or they want to split and go clubbing. Friday was busy. UH game. We were at Business and it was crowded. Young girls came in late. Strolled to Casino, was busy too, saw some new girls. Yuri's, all seats taken. Not too many girls, the usual. I guess they are waiting for Maya to take back the bar. Earlier in the week we went to Black Jack. Crazy set up. Approx. 6-8 small bars within a large bar. I guess these girls want to be little mamas. Beer was 4 bucks. Girl selection sparse. Small mamas are same girls you've seen at other bars. Not worth my while. One room, no where to play.
On another note: As head lock says, don't fall in love with these bar girls. You really can't fall in love with a bar girl. If you feel like you are, you are just "falling in lust with them" not love. What your feeling is not love. It's like the movie stars getting married, just lust and physical attraction, not love. Use them or they will use you.

Lots of bucks as in lots of drinks and/or expensive shopping trips. If it's just for play fine, but if she doesn't ask for costly gifts, doesn't push you for drinks, and keeps her word about showing up for a dates, then that's a promising sign. If not, it ain't going to happen and it's time to look elsewhere. Again, trying to make this happen is very tough, and if it ain't working just give up early and move on. If you are not on the same social / age level, then it's just a money thing and nothing more.
Through my 40 yrs. of mongering, I had many friends spend big bucks on these girls to try and get them to be a real girlfriend. All of them crashed and burned. One thing they all told me was, it's so much easier to approach a bar girl then it is to apprach a girl in a club or at a restaurant. And imho that's where the downfall is. Us guys, who don't have the looks, feel we have no chance to hook the big one in public, so in the kb's we stand a better chance. Advantage girl. They know this. The less attractive the man, the better scam they can play. Ever heard a girl say about a good looking guy, I don't like him, he a player. It's not because they can hook up with him cause he's always with another girl, it's because the can't make money off of him because he'll just find another girl if she gets too money hungry. My friends all went crazy with these bar girl semi-relationships. Too many questions: what is she doing in the room, what is she doing in the booth, she has to go to work and not go out with me, can't let my customers see me with you or I won't get drinks, on and on. If you go to a club and a girl turns you down, at least you know she's not interested. Use this as a blessing. Your better off without her. In the bars, you never know. Never. That's no way to live. I started to see this girl and told her I don't have money or looks but she told me it's not about that. I know she has drama in her life and some people told me she always drunk everynight. I always thinking in the back of my head that I'm being play. One day bought her two drinks and had only 15. 00 left on the table and she asks for some more drinks and I told her I had no more money so she went to her bag and took out some money and put it on my 15. 00 told me to buy her drinks. I told her thats not my money and she said her money is my money.

Lastnight we went to Little Soul to drink and her coworker came later on so they was jamming on there korean. '' yes I don't speak korean'' anyways they was talking about some customers. Lastnight she call me from her work and ask if I wanted to go drinking and then drop her back at her work place but I told her I don't have money.
