As for the booths, I would say that it depends on your comfort level. I'm not overly concerned about people seeing me. I mean, look at where people have experiences in Casino, Evergreen, or Red Rose. I haven't been back to Red Rose to cross Kim off my BG bucket list because the last time I walked in, a guy was getting blown at the booth right in front of the door. Like, you walk in and BAM! Fatty BJ. Had a deleterious effect on my opinion of the place and sex drive.

My first bar experiences were back at C'est La Vie, when Sibyl was working there. They had all of those private rooms in the hall that connected the main bar with the side bar, but plenty of guys got serviced in the two front rows, along with the tables tucked off to the side. Around 2005, the BGs had no shame there. I guess I got used to that.
