I was there last Friday, there is a big sign, no cameras, no video equipment, and no use of cell phones beyond the entry point of the theater and the back rooms, so stop being misleading. With the sensitivity about recording devices no one and I mean no one is going to get away with taking any pictures or video. Regarding the price, LOL. Most play that you would be interested in happens in the theater and the booths. Regarding parties, show me a party you can attend for less than the playhouse, you can't. If you can't afford the 20 bucks for the majority of the action your money is probably better spent elsewhere in my opinion, stop bashing you are dead wrong.

That is your choice for sure and I have and will never take random pictures of others playing in the theater or spa or anywhere for that matter unless asked by the couple who is playing or the gal which many times I have been for their own record. I agree that and totally understand why people don't want to have their faces or bodies online and I don't VIDEO OR TAKE THEIR PICTURES AT ALL! LOL thought I had to emphasize that. Hey thats our play and it doesn't include anyone else. Its simple go see those pictures for yourselves and there is not a one that we have in them that didn't know what the intent was or what we were doing. In fact I have stopped people from taking "Private" photos when we were there playing and asking them if they had permission from those playing even to the point of management actually taking a camera and deleting the pictures on it from one guy who took shots without permission.

the Playhouse Is the Best Thing Going
Just to fill on those wondering in or those nay-sayers who maybe got kicked out of the place LOL (oops your bad). The playhouse is the BEST THING going for those who love to get their freak on in a private/public place, You can be a voyuer, you can participate, you can shower (always good to be clean and not smelly), you can go steam (that is great to relax and also fun in the steam room isn't bad too), There are gals that show up from time to time whether single or married, I'll tell you what affects people from going at times, Its the crap that some negitive people (like some that might have gotten kicked out) or others who are jealous of other people getting the attention, or simply those who are just to cheap to pay the Dam $20. To. Wait go to a movie and arcade not just for one showing but able to have that ticket ALL DAY from when they arrived to close. I don't know, the last time I looked the movies at most Adult theaters for one showing or a double header was Min. $10-$15 and no arcade and usually no single females or couples wanting action. Back to Melrose now. Then they added a Spa section and Party room (yeah good stuff), Now after you have some fun you can go clean up and even relax in the steam room. Hey if you find someone you like and want some private time you can rent a private room in the spa for $40 which may be high but we rented a room for 4 hours at a motel which was ok for a bunch of us after a night of clubbing and paid a little more than that. The thing is that it is all in the same place! You don't have to hunt a room down when your wanting some one on one time. If your wanting to throw a party there is the party room that they do rent out for parties as I have done bachelor parties there as well as Meet & Greets and more. Its private and very nice with two private rooms in the party room for use of those renting them, A full bar area and DJ sound and lighting and now a big screen with video projector. If you bring your own lock (if you don't want to pay their price for one) the lockers are FREE! So you can leave your clothes or bring a change of clothes as well. They have a lounge area set up in the arcade area as well as the spa as well as outside. How can anyone say they haven't tried to accomodate those who frequent the playhouse. The private parties are not ran by melrose but different groups or orginizations but people love to ball it all together. Hey if you don't want to go because you think its to expensive then simple DON'T GO. If you want the Theater and Arcade the price hasn't changed in over a year. The spa cost a little more but if you don't want to you don't have too. But why bash it. I don't see you picketing the gas stations for the rise of gas prices LOL. Or anyone bashing the owners of those stations or those who fill up there LOL! Thats funny "fill up"! Anyway 15th Ave. In My estimation as well as alot of others may have its problems and growing pains but its still "THE BEST PLACE GOING! My wife and I drive from wisconsin 2 1/2 hours one way to have fun there and usually stay at a nice hotel too. So our weekends with the cost of melrose. Well. Wished we lived closer LOL as we would be there more for sure.

Gotta say, Sheba's husband...
Is a class act.
I didn't care for the advertising and the videotaping that changed the 'feel' of Friday nights at the playhouse that they attended, but Sheba and her husband were always as nice as could be, and he is very patient here in explaining what's what. I liked the adventure and spontaneity of the old days as to who might show up and what might happen, as opposed to the lights, camera, action scene, but to each his own.
More importantly though, what is going on at 15th these days? Are single guys still limited to the theater on Friday/Saturday nights? And if so, is it dead in the theater/room behind the theater with no women, no couples, no nudity allowed?
I'm not heading back, if ever, until there seems to be a reason to. Hard to tell what's going on; sounds like an active dis-information campaign is being waged on top of everything else.
