If your spot wasn't near housing or night businesses like a bar, that SUV is really suspicious. I've heard of traps like that, or it could be a guy that wanted to be next who followed you. Or it could be nothing.

Lots of these street goons are on drugs and have nothing to live for, so they might have weapons and be willing to kill you for the money that you have on you. Any of their cars might be stolen.
I've talked to streetwalkers that have gotten arrested for stealing cars, and a SW named Marie Fox from a few years ago told me that she had a record for pulling a gun on a guy. Then she stabbed a guy and killed him a couple of years ago, and I assume went to jail, probably for life. I talked to her a few times, and could tell she had a psycho side. She was probably stoned out of her mind when she killed the guy, and may not even remember.
Lots of these SW and lots of these goons commit lots of crimes, and lots of them don't expect to be alive a year or two from now, so there's no upside in getting into any kind of confrontation with any of them. If there's any shot of a fight, get out of there.
Came back late last night around 2 am. Took a quick drive through NMS and didn't see anything. A saw a couple potentials. But I didn't know them and they didn't look very appealing. Plus, one had three shopping bags and I don't need to deal with that. What's up with the food truck next to the fire station? It's crowded with people and cars. Is the food that good? Or is it a hidden drug issuing site? Either way, it isn't a spot I want to get a sausage sub.

There was one BSW down near the Vibrant gas station down on Dot Ave, but that was it.
Nothing in NMS, and I've seen as many as 10-12 in NMS at similar times on other nights in the last month.
Nothing to report fellas. I did see a few SWS but none of them were to my taste. Saw one WSW that's been talked about on Magazine St. She had a nasty bruise on her forehead with multiplebagsin tow. She did have some guy with her. Saw another WSW who was very tiny, wearing all black and somewhat coherent but, I didn't bite, I hung it up for the night.
One thing I must inform you guys on. Around 9 on Allerton St, there were two goons on bikes vandalizing some ones car, bullying them to back thier car up. All I heard was glass breaking and these two punks causing trouble. That said, be aware fellas and keep your doors locked, ESPECIALLY in that area.
The ave has been more than disappointing lately but like my previous theory; things are a little more relaxed / normal during weeknights simply because the cops are focusing on weekend busts (when johns outnumber women the most and have the most free time to hunt). Both Monday and Tuesday nights I found worthwhile eaters. Neither were new to me, just not out as often as others it seems.
Mon: After several laps between 11 & 12 I found M on the corner of Magazine and Allerton, I could tell she had just walked her way down bc she actually lives up the street from me in my neighborhood and was nowhere in sight on the prior lap. She's more UTR than SW and has a section 8 apt up the street from me. She's a short, mid 40's to early 50's HSW (PR), decent in the face, and the typical Latina next door body minus a couple saggy areas.
Tues: I found Patty after the same scenario, post work hunting from 11-12. I found her on that mid Allerton side street. She's a mid 20's mixed worker (leans more towards HSW) from Lynn that I almost passed up due to a somewhat annoying first encounter a couple of months ago. I saw it through primarily because just like our first date, her body looked good both from a distance and up close. She was more coherent this time which was the issue on the first date.
