Greetings All. Been contemplating seeing someone in the Southfield and Fort Street area. Private place in Lincoln Park. I have no idea what that area is like. Never paid a visit downriver. If anyone could shed some light on safety and where to stay away, I'd appreciate it. And before you ask, I've done some reading on crime stats and what people think about the area and they're mixed.

North of Southfield and Fort is mostly black and Mexican. The whites are mostly old or low income. The area should be safe during the day. As always, YMMV. However, I wouldn't hesitate to go during the daylight.

LP is safe in the day. At night it can get a little skrtchy depending on exactly where.

For places to stay, there's motels and hotels on the Northline and Eurecka Road exits on I-75. They are located about 10 minutes away, assuming you have a car. Good Luck.

Good Luck.[/QUOTE]Also, if you're around Southfield Road, Shawna Ann operated out of the Allen Park Motor Lodge for a good while, and there have definitely been others working out of there. Not far from the LP area, and I've never worried about a thing there. If you don't want your car in the lot that opens onto Southfield, you can park on Cleophus Ave. And walk around to the motel. Never had a problem there.

She doesn't like to discuss it over the phone BUT once you have established an understanding with her she does follow through on her end.

This site has been referenced here many times and I've used it for research myself. Lately, I've seen less than stellar reviews just disappear.

I'm NOT talking about blatant disregard for social decorum, just truthful observations of the event and surroundings.

To me, this makes the site useless.

Then, I wonder if the providers can delete reviews which are not flattering.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Now the state has to make all the rules as far as who sells, who delivers, who grows, etc. In colorado, it took almost 2 years for the industry to be up and running after passage. And you're right. A good dispensary requires a card to enter.
