I keep trying to find ways to put myself out there or approaching these ladies on CL but no luck and keep getting the obvious bots and spam. I don't want to give up cause CL is free and I'd hate to pay for a site like AM. So any aside would be appreciated thanks guys.

Preditor Watch dot com uses that approach to trap guys browsing on CL.
I have tried CL for a couple of days. All I got are fake. Most of them attached one or two pictures in the email and asked mine. I was thrilled at the first time. It looks like from a real person. After a while I calmed down and decided to do some homework. I found a simple way to check if the pic is fake. Maybe you already knew it.
Anyway;
1. Save the pic on your computer
2. Go to images. Google. Com. Notice that at the end of input bar, there is a small picture icon. Click on that and upload your picture you just saved. Then click search.
If the picture you received is from Internet, google will most likely find it and return the website. So you know the pic you received is fake.

I get a lot of responses from women who actually use their real name, real email addresses and such so its easy to track down their facebook, etc. Before I send a picture. So I feel a little more confident sending it out.
If I do run into a high privacy girl then I have other methods to provide me some comfort in knowing she is real before I send out a picture or talk business.
But in reality, if you are not comfortable sendin out a picture thats your perogative. Once you send it they can use it for whatever they want. Keep that in mind.
I met up with an 18 year old yesterday. We did not do anything, just had lunch and talked.
