Stopped in the other day since ad said under new management. Two girls working. Seemed friendly, chatty. Neither young spinners but really could not tell age. TS was probably the most thorough I've had in awhile. Gives a mini massage which is always nice. Once in the room asked for a hard massage. I used to go the King Spa in Melbourne but gave up due to the limited menu of activities and lowered quality of the girls. But, one evening I was in the area so I figured I would try them out again.

In the past with someone new or at a new place I've gone in and tipped extra up front to see where things could go (up to 80 or 100 if I thought the masseuse was really hot). Sometimes the results are great, sometimes it's money down the drain.

It's odd to hear that someone at Sunrise was complaining though. And I definitely wouldn't want to be eyeballed leaving there. It's awkward enough with the highly visible front entrance.

There is no "standard" tip. IMO, some of us tip way too much. Some ladies are used to giving a certain level of service and getting a certain tip.

Depending on the up front charge and amount of time I get, I tip $10 for a good massage, regardless of who the provider is; AMP, legit massage, whatever. From there, the tip goes up or down. If the massage is lousy and no extras are provided, there is no tip. If the massage is lousy and extras are provided, it depends on the extras. Really good massage with no extras. $20. Play in the TS, play on the flip, etc all goes toward my tip decision.

From reports I've read here, I tend to require more from a massage than others to earn a big tip.

If you are a regular then they come to expect what your usual tip is and know what kind of extras to provide. I'm sure Julie told her what you usually tip and she probably delivered that level of service for her. Even though you thought 40 Mario coins was appropriate, to her she was providing massage worthy of 80 Mario coins. Just like you are use to a certain level of service especially when you become a regular, they also expect a certain level of gratitude after the service.
