Hey guys,

I'm visiting from Los Angeles and am looking for a woman (not a girl-I want some experience, and if that means she's a little mature that's find by me) to come see me tonight in Center City. I'm not sure how it works, here, but back home most of the outcall ads can't be trusted. They'll take your money and hand it out the door to their "driver," then proceed to either upsell or flat out refuse to provide anything additional. There ARE safe bets, but they're generally not on BP. I've checked eros, and while I did find some of what I'm looking for there, the rates are a LOT higher than what I think of as reasonable.

So I figured I'd see if anybody here would be willing to help a guy out. I know I don't have a lot of posts, but you should be able to see that I'm a senior member who's been around for a few years. If you're willing to share info I'd really appreciate it. Of course, if you're ever in LA I will hook you up.

Somerset) Ever count the number of senseless murders in this area. Send a person who doesn't know the area along with a pocket full of cash and your looking at another statistic. If you feel safe go hang out here but I wouldn't. Someone will hit you with a brick for just being stupid.

You are addressing others, but let me chime in as well:

• "need the somerset station" means "[b]near[/b] the Somerset stop on the Market-Frankford elevated train line. The bottom of the stairs at that stop is one of the most notorious drug-dealing corners in the city. If you are not aware of your surroundings or feeble or don't walk around confidently, yes, you are vulnerable. Especially at night. Drug users, pimps, and other neer-do-wells are known to carry and use their fists or, gulp, guns! So it has more to do with YOU and your street saviness than the fact that you are from Philadelphia.

• "Run down", definitely yes; "dangerous", potentially yes. But as I indicated I have gotten off the el there and walked around and gotten laid, and I'm not fullback-sized. But I always kept moving and definitely kept my eyeballs open. Frankly, it's not for out-of-towners simply because they may not know which streets are more dangerous or where shops or stores are where they can find refuge. So really, "out-of-towners" would include Philadelphia suburbanites, visitors from across the river in New Jersey, and people from other Philadelphia neighborhoods. I'm from another neighborhood, and I drove those Kensington streets for several years before I ventured out to walk.

• "investigate the K alternative"? Yes, taking the above into account. But only if you like adventure and cheap prices.

• "let them take you somewhere"? Perhaps, but preferably on a second date after you know a girl, but again, it's an adventure with far more risk than at a hotel or AMP.

• "Do we have something like a list"? No. Giving that out would jeopardize the owner of such places. You find one by asking a girl (preferably one you have dated before). As for hotels, search "Carlyle" "Riviera" "Hub" "Hallmark" or just plain "hotel" in the Philadelphia thread. Thanks to everyone for the advice. I will probably avoid Kensington as I would need to do my activities after 5 PM (I will be in the convention center all day) and there seems to be no consensus on how safe I would be walking out there after the sun goes down.

Are there any streetwalkers around Chinatown? Is chinatown safe to be after dark?

What is the street address for "FC"?

Another question. Has anyone had any luck picking up a girl in the Harrah's Casino? Long shot I know, but I do plan on being there on a Friday night.

That's what I was trying to establish, and therefore thanks to all who commented. Personally, while I've never mongered there (nor visited w / o a car) , I'm somewhat familiar with the area, and yes, it does look very run-down, and while I've never witnessed anything criminal there, I kinda feel that it's far from impossible. At least, based on how the place looks.

Usually bad stuff is concentrated in the North and West. These you should definitely consider as no-go areas.

I don't know if any white people can easily fit in here. You see a white dude, he's probably a john. Every day people go for walks with these girls to places they know where they have an arrangement to pay the people $10 or whatever. They are usually rooms people rent to them in the basement that have a bed. They'd have to call ahead to setup and ambush, if they were doing it on a regular basis it would be talked about here more.

So it's possible, but it's unlikely. Of course, many times you need to walk for 5. 10 blocks to get there and if it was dark and you didn't know the area, you might be like "what did I just get into".

If he was going during the day time, I'd say go for it. But not so much at night.

I do think walking around is an easy way to do it (can be time consuming to cover the blocks and chase down the gal you want). And anytime you are NOT in a car, law enforcement has less power over you.

I said walking the ave is bad vs driving a car.

Enterprise has cars to rent for 20 a day (say less then 50 w / all the extras).

I see (and have met personally) where a guy not from the area wants to enjoy the fruits of the ave. (walking or not) This is not the place to learn street smarts. People from the burbs that think they are tough ain't crap to the people that are here. They are silly to think the girls want to have great sex and collect money. Some do but which ones are they. They don't understand some of these folks will cause them harm for 10 dollars. They don't understand dope sick. These people live in a completely different world.

You totally need to keep your shit together or you will get hurt. This needs to be the one thing to get across here. F. Up or meet the wrong person and you can die. No bones about it. I mean dead! You life can be worth the value of your watch to someone. Someone did steal the watch off a guy dying in the emergency room.

Have I been mugged.no, but very close. (guns pulled the whole deal) and it was in a car, them banging on the windows.thank god the car started and I'm quick thinking. I was a statistic ready to be recorded. I have had girls take the cash and run, wallet cleaned out while sucking my the, bullshit dates.all of it. I've learned a lot from the school of hard knocks.

Unless you know the person you must always keep you stuff together. Some girls are sweet hearts but without knowing how can you tell them from the one that just wants to steal whatever you got.including your car.

My advice to anyone (visitor to philly from out of town) that wants to experience the ave. Rent a cheap car. Get a GPS so you don't get too lost.

Go to a hotel. When you learn and understand the Ave.venture out.meet a few girls, get a few digits then take some chances.

Have a good time just be safe. Again people die for being stupid, just be smart. Trust no-one (not even myself).

I'm in town for the night, I don't want to rent a car, or go to the ave, I would prefer a safe provider that can come to my hotel. Can anyone Suggest a girl or two in the airport area? Much of what you are saying makes a lot of sense. I have but one question: What difference does having a rented car (or any car) make.

[b]There[/b] was a News report, earlier today, about a victim who was shot in his car and drove to the hospital were he died. I have heard of guys who got robbed in their car. I have heard of guys who got robbed at their hotel after driving there with a girl. Guys get robbed at gun point during car dates in back lots. Unless the car is bullet proof, or comes with an armed guard, I don't see where it, by itself, is a lot of protection. In fact, you may be worst off, if you let yourself be lured into a sense of false safety, believing you don't have to be alert because you've rented a car.

The best advice is travel to this area with very little cash wear nondescript clothes. Get a $20 "batphone" and leave the area after you get a "Hottie" to go to a No-tel. Don't draw attention to youraelf in anyway. These people are tough and travel in packs targeting the easy marks.

That is the reason to "rent a car". Any 4+ wheeled vehicle would work. When I bought my work truck (f150) I almost bought a van instead. Wouldn't take much to make it nicer then the Carlisle.

I actually saw a semi truck circling the block to get a date. And that was a 53 footer.

Personally I like getting out and walking among the girls. When walking I can hand pick my date. Also, LE is less of a problem for a pedestrian. If I am stopped while walking, I need only show I'd and keep quiet. My car is not in danger of being searched and confiscated.
