Just adding a few thoughts
Just to chime in on this topic, Hsv1 is oral herpes and can be transferred by oral to genitals but it's not too common based on its mode of infection. As for Hsv2 which is genital herpes, it's not just fluid but actually rubbing it into the skin (intercourse or heavy rubbing) so it's not too frequent to transfer the virus when you have a condom. The studies show people had a decent chance of avoiding herpes if they did the following.
1) Wear a condom for intercourse and strap it on before you have genital contact.
2) The sores on a lip hsv1 or genitals hsv2 are the main danger times to transmit the virus. There is viral shedding as well but not at the quantity that is very risky. If I see a sore then I'm OUT.
There is always a risk but general precautions will be a reasonable way to avoid an infection. Stay safe.
Like someone else mentioned a condom won't stop herpes because it's generally passed by skin to skin contact or coming in contact with an open herpes sore, unlike most stds that pass via fluid transfer. The sad truth is that the majority of people have been exposed to hsv1 and I would guess that well over 60% of the adult population who is sexually active has been exposed to hsv2. You'll never really know if a provider has herpes unless you find a prescription or notice open sores. Even if they have no visible sores, the virus could still be passed to you. Last I checked the cdc does not recommend getting tested for herpes because you can't cure it and studies have shown that knowing rarely changes sexual behavior and most people don't disclose it.
Condoms will only protect you from fluid transfer, which will at least generally protect you from most of the stuff that will kill you. Really the only two defenses are abstinence and monogamy (if you trust your partner).
.
Links, web caches and phone numbers
Amen to that, nothing like making an inquiry and then being told to search it and 8 out of 10 times the link is dead.
Sometimes you can still get the info and the pictures by using one of the internet cache mechanisms. Three of those are accessible through cachedpages.com, including Google's, which may be the most comprehensive publicly accessible one.
For example, here is a BP link that does not work anymore:
http://raleigh.backpage.com/FemaleEscorts/s-you-w-o-ram/20630577
And here is the link to Google's cache of the same data, which still works at the time of this posting (but may also disappear in the future):
https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://raleigh.backpage.com/FemaleEscorts/s-you-w-o-ram/20630577
In general, I assume that a girl interested in maintaining clientele and reputation will try to keep her phone number, so that is the main identifier for me. I'm not sure whether posting girls' complete phone numbers is or is not allowed here. It appears that some things are deleted without so much as an explanation. On the other hand, I have seen links to escortphonesearch.com and escortads.xxx pages, which use the phone numbers in their URLs, get posted and not deleted. I only put up with this because of some other, obvious advantages.
