What I agree to compensate a provider is strictly between me and said provider and is more accurately decided by her attention to detail and how I enjoyed the experience.

I NEVER pay upfront, and I will let them know that going in, so if there is a problem with that she does not get my business. I find it reduces her enthusiasm level if you have just gone around and around about compensation.
