Since we don't celebrate what you humans call Christmas on Kashyyyk, all I can say is Bah Humbug....
Since we don't celebrate what you humans call Christmas on Kashyyyk, all I can say is Bah Humbug....
Yes, but don't you celebrate Life Day, which is very similar to Christmas? Activities for Life Day included trimming a tree, launching fireworks, consuming treats like Wookiee-ookiees and Hoth chocolate, and listening to festive music. Traditional Life Day songs include:
Christmas Green
Here We Come A-Wassailing
Jolly Old Saint Nicholas
Joyful and Triumphant
Swingalong Santa
I hope each of you have a Merry Christmas and enjoy your time with your families and loved ones.
Hopefully Santa will be good to you as we all have been such good boys all year long.
Merry Christmas..

I just usually pass the holiday time by pulling folks arms out of their sockets and ripping the wings off of butterflies...
Christians in the fourth century assigned December 25 (the Winter Solstice on the Julian calendar) as Christ's birthday (and thus Christmas) because pagans already observed this day as a holiday. As the dates of Saturnalia are not precisely coincident with Christmas, a more refined argument is that Christmas was set on the feast of Sol Invictus, which was on December 25, and which had supplanted Saturnalia. However, with many of the traditions of Saturnalia incorporated into Sol Invictus, it is possible that some of those traditions — such as the exchanging of gifts — were also carried forward as a part of the Christian holiday.
Hail Saturnalia, One and all!
Festivus, the festival for the restofus. The day when you tell all your friends and family how they have disappointed you over the past year. I have the aluminum pole, who is up for the Feats of Strenght.
(Apologies to George Costanza's father on Seinfield-- stolen directly from that show)

That is attached or next to Lipstixx this morning, very early am to get some gag gifts for my buddies bachelor party tomorrow.
Well, there is a couple in there, older guy and older woman probably late 40's. The guy goes in the restroom so I ask the lady if they are going in the arcade or theater and she says she doesn't know.
So I hang around and they do go in the theater. She had a long skirt on and she looked really nice.
So, I was a little too aggressive and went right in after them. They were checking the rooms out. I asked if they were looking for some fun and they said they were just looking. They had some gay porn on in one theater and some straight porn on in the other but black people. And there was one black guy in the straight room stroking it. So, I sat down and stroked it a bit and I know they saw me but they just stood at the doorway and then left. I was hoping to have some theater fun. Oh well.

Click on the Rules link. Among other things, there's a list of DON'Ts embedded in there.

Took a ride on Nebraska on Sat evening. A car pulled up on Nebraska & Fowler as I waited for the light, with two young Mongers looking for SWs. The one yelled out to me "Where are all the women? ". I ignored them but started thinking on my way home maybe I should of gave them some intel. Isn't that part of a hobby. Helping others. They were no more than 19 or so. Good to see young blood on the Monger side getting into the hobby.
I still remember my first time when a seasoned Monger took me for a ride one evening and turned me on to this hobby.
Happy Hunting.
We all know that knowledge is power in locating and dealing with different issues in this hobby. I seem to run into a few real knuckle heads at times. I have even taken the time while I'm working during the day to stop and tell a fellow monger when he stops for a soda or whatever hes buying and say something like. 'I'm doing the same thing your doing but your way to obvious".. The usually look and smile and say something funny. I will then be like sit back and enjoy the scenery and you will see it unfold right in front of you.
So as I sit back and watch guys drive in circles I sit by the sidelines and enjoy the show. Its actually entertaining at times. You see like 5 cars running in circles -LE turning all over in the alleys watching the mongers. I'm like a cat trying to watch a fly its mind boggling.
So next time your out stop somewhere and just watch. After the guys are all gone the girls usually just pop out and shes all yours and no issues to deal with.
Happy Hunting..
We all know that knowledge is power in locating and dealing with different issues in this hobby. ..
R Consultant,
Thanks for the wise insight.
I too have picked my spots, sat back and waited for a SW to pass by. I wish I could do more of that. I tend to get "anxious" and keep moving.
I knew a monger in Ft Lauderdale who would park his car get out and then sit at the street bench at various points on US 1. With the daily sports section in hand he would wait for a SW to pass. He swore by his sucess rate and saved on gas and mileage.

It seems to me the very best SW emerge from the darkest corners, where I do not feel safe parking and watching. I'd spend every minute wondering if I would be jumped or mistaken for LE.
