It's a tragic case, and it sucks that the guy had to bring so much negative attention to our hobby. It puts a black eye on our attempt to keep our hobby under the radar as much as possible.
With the downtown situation being what it is, we really didn't need this kind of news coverage. Isn't murder what started upping the heat on DT, when that pimp got killed?

You guys got me really curious about that lady that yells in the mic.
I was curious when the mention of her first started, but now even more so because JR mentioned that she used to work at Yokohama.
I went there many times, but I don't remember a lady yelling in a mic or looking like she had the potential to do it - he he.

Yeah, I kinda figured it was before I used to go there. Back then, I was only about the strip bars and AMPs. I didn't venture into the KBs and VBs until later.
Actually, how long was Yokohama around? Anybody know?

The worst was for $1200. I was pissed, but chalked it up to a learning experience. Granted I never talked to her again or went back to that place for years, but that's life. As we know, in time a person learns how to adjust to the system and not get burned. You also learn how to have fun without spending four figures and hating yourself the next day.
Five bottles ain't worth a life. Very sad.

I'm sure it's just me, but 5 bottles?!? There aint no bar maid worth that. With all the amps in town... Now I may not be looking in the right bars. Who and at what bar is there a 5 champaign bottle kind of girl? I've gone 2 bottles at most, and thought that was a blockhead move. As one poster wrote, I learned my lesson.
