Bottom line is we all have different tastes so we will never see things in the same light. If we get rid of the numbers and go with good descriptions we all can make better decisions based on that. Same with age since we all see things with different eyes, I would just say Young Un, Average, MILF. Yes, there is some concern with age for different reasons both positive and negative but those three categories should cover what is needed to know. I think someone said it the best already, can't we all agree to disagree? All we really want is to know is if the provider being reviewed has potential for ME. Let's take Sushi for example. I thought she was cute, and she had been rated as a 7 numerous times. I saw her for myself and I figured her to be a 7 as well. Yelp and Trip Advisor don't have universal rating systems and those review sites help immensely at picking a restaurant in a new city. A rating system helps you to screen for a range you care about. Then, you read the detailed reports to figure out exactly where you want to go. It's not a perfect way to pick a restaurant, but it is way better than looking through the window to see what it might be like.

Then, a reader can throw out the high and the low rating and average the rest to get a more accurate picture of looks.
