Just try to remember that guys get busted in Chicago for more than just mongering. You didn't mention seeing him with a girl. Was it a traffic stop and they caught him with open alcohol? Was it a traffic stop and they discovered he had a warrant? On North Cicero, there are a number of reasons people get busted. But you are right about too many mongers breaking the rules.

I do remember that the vehicles that pulled him over were unmarked, an unmarked grey SUV and a unmarked black smaller car. It was directly next to the BP that used to be a Citgo not too far from Belmont and Cicero. The officers who arrested him were also not in uniform, street attire. And at the time, there were 3 SW's at or near the BP and the bust. I didn't want to give all that info though because Nicole was one of the SWs there, and I know that she is not an officer. I recognized one of the other SWs too, and the other, I did not recognize.

So, you're right, he could have been pulled over and then it was realized that he had a warrant or was drunk. But the appearance of unmarked vehicles, plain clothes officers, and the fact that it happened to be a Thursday night and more than a few of the SWs have mentioned to me from time to time that they seem to patrol hard for that on Thursday nights.

In the end, who knows? I have noticed a lot of people picking up off the main street, talking through windows, making you-turns abruptly, and obviously slowing down to below 15 mph on a 30 mph street to take a better look at the ladies. All obvious signs of what someone is doing.

I can report that the Northside near the strip club has had an increase of activity as of late, especially between Kimbal and Kedzie. The far northside seems completely dead. Cicero still hit or miss. I have still not seem Tonya, but she is usually out more "early" than "late" so I could just be missing seeing her. Pulaski near Grand seems to have as many leos as SWs. North Ave itself seems dead.

It's points back at the cop shop for them when they pull a want or a warrant off the street. Another thing to note when driving down there and actually this one they got me on, however it has been a long time. One can not make a u-turn within 100 feet of an intersection. Now I don't know if that is state, county or chi proper, however I got tagged for that one myself. Also of course slowly moving along a roadway could be construed as cruising and there are signs about that in differents areas of the city as well as the no prostitution signs that I know are right by jimmys at pul and grand. Did a cruise last night to 5th saw sylvia and other BSW. Glad you skated though as that is the main thing. Any old reason that is legal will cause the pull over given the area and the time...with the tint they couldn't tell if her head was going up and down in the front seat so they came up with reason number 100 to pull over! glad it worked out since they found out that nobody was home.
