How do you know you were recorded? Did you see what appeared to be a camera? Did you see your car on a video monitor? Did you get a jpeg of your visit? Did it accompany a request for additional funding?

Security cameras are cheap, I've got several around my castle. They are motion activated, and unless I have a problem I never look at the video and it is recorded over eventually. They are everywhere, homes, businesses, notel parking lots. Button cameras can be tucked anywhere and everything that happens in a room recorded. You are likely recorded dozens of times a day without ever knowing it.

The real question is what do they intend to do with the recording?

Some providers I trust probably have cameras around the outside of their homes. I don't like it, but I doubt I have much to worry from them. Putting the recording to any inappropriate use, public posting, youporn, blackmail opens them to far more serious legal problems than it would me.
