Just a quick report on the KB walkthrough from Tuesday night. Came from drinks with a buddy and decide to check out the KBs quickly, as I have not visited a KB in several years. Walked through most of the KBs on Kapiolani Blvd, and it would be fair to say most were dead, with a few patrons at the bar and even fewer ladies. Disappointing to say the least. Walked up to Sheridan Street and visited the three KBs where the old Club Secret used to be. Only one of the bars (in Secrets old location) had customers and lots of ladies. Outside there were 4 ladies sitting waiting fir customers to show-up. The KBs do seem to have slowed down over the past several years – blame it on the economy I believe.
Being disappointed with the KBs I will more than likely turn my attention to AMPs. In the past I visited Pine Tree several times, but that was over 5 years ago. The big fear is LE and the potential for being arrested because of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. What I like about the KBs is that there is a potential to have dinner/drinks with a hostess outside of the club if that is what one seeks. AMPs are for just a fun sex on the side type of thing – and not all that pricey. If I had stated and sat with a hostess Tuesday I would have quickly spent 100 to 200 plus, with no return on investment – then have to explain to my wife why I smell like a perfume bottle when I get home.
Do you folks prefer any AMP over the others? Would it because of the quality of the ladies, or the overall service you received, or just due to location? Any feedback would be appreciated. I have also thought about trying an independent escort, due to the GFE possibilities that they advertise. While they so seem very appealing I am reading that sometimes it is very difficult to get in touch with some of these folks to set-up an encounter, thus the AMP may prove the better choice because of the availability and ease of access.

You hear the excuses over and over again by the cops. We have to have positive evidence before we can arrest (texting ban bill, fireworks, red light bill, etc.). This means they have to witness, record, or find someone to testify against you. Friend of a friend was at the wrong place at the wrong time (Young St. AMP). All they could do is threaten him (expose activities to family, employer, and media). Another friend got exposed to the media by the cops during solicitation sting in DT. Almost cost him his family and a lot of money. New tactics are rotten. And cops wonder why people hate them.
