Reading this reminded me of a quick tip I had.

Get a google voice account. It is a number that you can use to call girls and not have them know your actual number. It is free and pretty easy to use. Instead of disposable phones which cost money. You can have them call this number which will forward to your phone.

I use it with stunning results.

Sorry, I left out some important details. Every encounter with Cecilia was incall at her place. My guess is she books a shitload of dates in case someone cancels. I never sign up for outcall service. You can "turn it off", via your Google Voice settings, whenever you do not want to be disturbed or with your SO.

If you have an iPhone, I highly recommend downloading the Talkatone app, which will use data instead of minutes (a great way to use your phone without data / voice charges if you're leeching free wi-fi in a foreign country as well). You can quit the Talkatone app when you don't want it to ring and load it when you do.

I also use it for any time I have to give a phone number to salespeople, etc. It has the ability to "spam" annoying numbers so that they'll never ring your phone at all. Not that that has anything to do with the hobby, but it's a nice touch.

I'm another happy Google Voice user. You can turn it on and off when you want it, forward it to whatever phone you want, text for free. And the person who you call / text only sees your Google Voice number, not your personal cell number, even if you're using your cell to contact them. You can even go online and get voice messages & texts through the Google Voice website. It really is the best thing out there for the kind of stealth work that we do.

This is going to change my life! I normally can't meet escorts because I'm not willing to give out my cell or buy a disposable (how do I explain to the wife if she finds it). If you get a call from google voice does it show up on your cell phone bill? What about making calls from your cell phone? Does that show up on your cell phone bill as a call you made?

I can't imagine they are giving people phone numbers for free or for very little $$$$.

So if people are sharing numbers, how does google know to transfer that call to you?

There's no sharing or other code to enter; when someone dials my GV number it rings whatever phone I have chosen or Google Voice chat. I know people who pick a number that is local for friends / relatives and it saves long distance.

Your initial number is free; if you ever want to change it, a $10 fee applies. Google rocks.

When you call someone through Google Voice, it calls a local Google phone number which then completes the call. You can also call your GV number and initiate a call from any phone by entering your PIN and going through the prompts.

With an iPhone, Talkatone lets you avoid the paper trail entirely by using a Google Talk client for VoIP communication. You're using data instead of voice minutes, so it won't show up on your phone bill.

You can also choose to have your GV number show up on Caller I'd. That means that if your phone plan supports a feature where you can pick certain numbers for free airtime, add your GV number and you won't have to pay for it. .

There's also a GV official client for iPhone and Android, as well as GV Mobile+ that's cheap and versatile.

Not sure what comes up on your phone bill since I do the auto pay / paperless thing. Plus I don't have anyone looking though my phone records. I'll have to check that part out and reply back with that one (unless someone out there knows the answer to that).
